  7. The Black Hole (1979)

Features: Silly robots voiced by Roddy McDowall and Slim Pickens (though one admittedly badass evil droid - Maximillian" - but otherwise...) special effects that haven't quite held up, confusing storyline/plot, a woman with a tinfoil hat, Ernest Borgnine in a turtleneck, and denouced by Neil deGrasse Tyson as the most scientifically inaccurate movie ever. What could be better for Rifftrax!
    Actors include:
    Maximilian Schell
    Anthony Perkins

    Robert Forster

    Joseph Bottoms
    Yvette Mimieux
    Ernest Borgnine
    Tom McLoughlin

  10. The Lazarus Effect (2015)

What do you get when you make a movie about bringing people back from the dead, a dog, school, and olivia wilde? ABSOLUTELY GODDAMN NOTHING!

Actually you get the lazarus effect

a group of researchers led by Frank (Mark Duplass) and his fiancée Zoe (Olivia Wilde,) who've achieved the unimaginable- bringing the dead back to life. After a successful, yet unsanctioned, trial on a newly deceased animal, the team is ready to unveil their breakthrough to the world. When the dean of their university learns of their underground experiments, their project is unexpectedly shut down and their materials confiscated

  11. They Live

John Carpenter's 1988 cult classic isn't a bad movie, but it could be very funny if parodied. There's a seriousness in the film that's matched with a very odd conceit -- that the world is being invaded by spacemen who are vulnerable only to Roddy Piper in sunglasses. It has the longest fist fight in world history, a highly 1980s style, and its a good bet that the movie is popular enough to be in lots of DVD collections already.

  12. Hell Comes to Frogtown

Too mainstream of a post apocalyptic cult classic? Naah! Who wouldn't want to see Rowdy Roddy Piper's genitals get shocked??? (Would also accept Return to Frogtown which "stars" Robert Z'Dar!!! Lou Ferrigno and Brion James round out the cast.)

  13. Big Trouble in Little China

Big Trouble in Little China. It has stereotypical flying Asians (which inspired Mortal Kombat) , weird monsters (one is made of about 50 eyeballs), a guy who gets so mad he expands to 3x his size before popping like a balloon. A balloon filled with guts. It has Kurt Russell as a tough-talking tuck driver wiseass who makes a fool of himself as much as possible, Victor Wong spouting more stereotypical stuff about Chinese curses, and the mighty James Hong as Lo-Pan: demonic sorcerer with light coming out of his mouth (according to Russell's character).

    It would be a great…

  16. Shin Godzilla - aka Godzilla Resurgence (2016)

We recently had the pleasure of seeing this reboot in the theater. The saying goes, third time's a charm right? Well, seeing as how this is Toho's third reboot of the Godzilla franchise, this movie is mighty charming.

Much of this movie is spent going through government rigamarole. I felt as though 2 thirds of this movie was meetings with government workers in a bevy of fancied up rooms (and matching speedsuits!). This clip justly supports that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaOYh6fq4xc

One question, why the heck don't we have cool slides to escape danger from...wouldn't this make the whole need for single file…

  17. Cowboys vs Dinosaurs

Just cheesy enough to be on same caliber as sharknado . Actors are to easy to make fun of. The whole concept that dinosaurs live in an underground bubble and breathe methane are accidentally released while looking for iridium......with cgi that is not on same level as spawn

  18. Rat Pfink a Boo Boo (1966)

A Ray Dennis Steckler (The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed Up Zombies) directed film. It was initially shot as a crime drama inspired by a series of obscene phone calls received by Steckler's ex-wife, however in mid-production, Steckler decided to turn it into a parody of the campy Batman television series.I'm really surprised Rifftrax hasn't done this yet. It makes The Wild World of Batwoman look like... well... The Wild World of Batwoman on Xoloft. Speaking of which the Rat Pfink (sic) in this film has nothing to do with the Rat Fink in The Wild…
