The Black Hole (1979)
Features: Silly robots voiced by Roddy McDowall and Slim Pickens (though one admittedly badass evil droid - Maximillian" - but otherwise...) special effects that haven't quite held up, confusing storyline/plot, a woman with a tinfoil hat, Ernest Borgnine in a turtleneck, and denouced by Neil deGrasse Tyson as the most scientifically inaccurate movie ever. What could be better for Rifftrax!
Actors include:
Maximilian Schell
Anthony Perkins
Robert Forster
Joseph Bottoms
Yvette Mimieux
Ernest Borgnine
Tom McLoughlin

OMG I couldn't get through the first (dialogue-ridden!) scene; I had to shut it off. But maybe if it's riffed, I might - might - get through it. BTW, I love John Barry, but I really can't believe he scored this. That's one of the campiest scores I ever heard (judging by the overture anyway). I can take the Spaceballs score more seriously.

Let’s not forget the weird heaven and **** sequence near the end and the implication that Rinehart and Maximillian...merged?
Oh, that’s right. He was trapped in Maximillian’s SCHELL.

I want this so much I can feel it in my bladder. It's not often you get something that thinks it's hard science fiction and at the same time so completely wrong about everything. Cute robots, bizarre costuming, scene chewing that would make Shatner wince... Disney tried so incredibly hard to ride those Star Wars coattails and failed so miserably it's beautiful!
