  2. Hollow Point (1996)

Cast: John Lithgow, Donald Sutherland, Tia Carrere, all lead by the Star, that dude from The X-Files.
This movie is that wonderful kind of bad, just good enough that you don't feel like you have to turn it off, so you can sit through the whole 13 year old's fever dream of a movie. The movie has a the swagger of a Tarentino film's fan club member's first script. And yet somehow it's got money to burn, Cars destroyed, rooms destroyed, buildings destroyed, and John Lithgow and Donald Sutherland's credibility destroyed, in a 90 minute long drug fueled gunfight.

  3. Season of the Witch/Hungry Wives/Jack's Wife (1972)

This George A. Romero production opens with a soundtrack that will make your ears bleed. Seriously. And random people walking through a forest for no apparent reason seeing various odd bits.

Then there's the "etcetera" scene which has a guy who reminds me of a real estate agent showing this woman around a house using the word "etcetera" a lot!

Random wife leashing. Yes, you read that right.

Tarot reader with a bizarre business model steps in and the scene descends into vodka drinking and pot smoking.

No real tension, scares or plot...perhaps pot was smoked while writing it? Very…

  4. Fullmetal Alchemist (2017)

I just watched about 1/2 of this movie after watching the full animated series, and I don't think I can watch the other half without a Rifftrax!

This movie is perfect for Riffing. It's like they lifted scenes and characters straight from the Anime. It's like one big cosplay troupe got a CGI budget and went wild! They even got the English voice actors from the Anime series to do the overdubs for the movie. There isn't a single scene from this movie that can't be made fun of! The riffs will write themselves!

  6. Dimension 5

I love it when Rifftrax does a goofy 60's spy flick, and the only thing better than a goofy 60’s spy flick, is a goofy 60’s spy flick that’s also a time travel espionage thriller starring a ton of guest actors from Star Trek and Odd Job from Goldfinger.

This movie has just the right amount of cheese, as it tries desperately to pass itself off as a sci-fi James Bond on the same budget as an episode of Time Tunnel.

Comparatively, it’s not even that terrible a movie. It actually reminds me a bit of the Gary Seven episode…

  8. Arabesque

Mike and Bridget did a fabulous job riffing Charade. It's only logical to follow that up with Stanley Donen's own follow up. It's all about Gregory Peck and Sophia Loren running around after a mysterious parchment that everybody wants and things just kinda go from there. This one might need to be Just the Jokes but I'd watch it.

  9. The Nutcracker (1993 George Balanchine's with Macaulay Culkin)

This movie should be considered because I feel there is plenty of opportunity for Riffs (like gender roles and cutting a crown off a dead rat and putting it on a girl's head and we're just cool with that??), Macaulay being in it also adds to the opportunities for riffs, and there is not a lot of talking in the movie so funny commentary would be an awesome addition. Thanks for considering.

  10. Catalina Caper

    1. This and the Gamera riffs were my favorite riffs from the original MST3K and it would be great if I could see this re-riffed.

    2. It's got it all from a bumbling knock off Inspector Clouseau, to thieves, and Little Richard, the only true talent in the film.

    3. But lastly, it features the ever awesome Creepy Girl! She's a rifffer's delight.

  11. La Banda del Gobbo (Brothers till We Die, 1978)

Sitting in Italy watching this terrible 70s crime movie - out of sync Italian dubbing to Italian dialogue, over-dramatic explosions and shootouts, and over-stylish Italian cops on the case. Please, please, please riff this unwatchable film so that it becomes watchable! See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brothers_Till_We_Die and https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075720/

  13. Street Boss (2009)

Our hero is the most wooden actor ever seen on film. He makes Rod from Birdemic look natural. To be less noticeable, he's assigned a tiny yellow car that nobody could help but notice. Watch him as he takes down mobsters from Detroit. This film is asking for the Rifftrax treatment.

  14. Yakuza Apocalypse

Yakuza Apocalypse is a gory and deeply weird piece of Asian cinema. Vampires! Decapitations! A living or possibly undead tattoo! A frog mascot that may or may not be a real frog! If you can put up with subtitles, this is well worth a riff. My bad movie night group was howling at this one without riffs, and it is not a comedy.

  15. Rifftrax NFT's

I believe MST3k and Rifftrax (and others) could be on the verge of creating a sort of "riffing industry" with the help of the new blockchain and NFT technology. I think there is great potential not just to create brilliant satirical comedy, but also to offer collectible merchandise of the literal future.
As you may or may not know, what makes an NFT special is, everybody's collectible NFT is unique, and each one will have it's own value. You will never have to worry about the dog chewing up your ultra-valuable Joe Don Baker NFT, or that it might be…

  17. Tales From The Hood 2

A laughably bad sequel horror anthology with a story about a woman giving birth to racist dolls, and a story that distastefully invokes real-world tragedies.

  19. Persecuted (2014)

A writer/director's fantasizing of the persecution of the Christians in America. The pastor's wounds move around his face. He survives after being shot through the heart. Script feels like a rough draft. Like in the last 30 minutes the writer suddenly remembered the protagonist needs a character flaw and throws in some flashbacks out his wife.

  20. Wonder Woman '75 Season 3 Episode 12 - "Gault's Brain"

Guys. I've been watching the Lynda Carter WONDER WOMAN show and stumbled across this gem. John Carradine stars as a brain in a jar with one eye ball connected to it. Plus, the brain inflates and deflates like it's also lungs? It is wild. Luckily, WONDER WOMAN is on HBO Max, same as other things you've riffed like GAME OF THRONES. I think this one would be well worth it (even if you only release it as a Just the Jokes) and a ton of fun.
