  6. StarLost

Have you riffed or thought about riffing the gawdawful 70s sci fi series “StarLost”.. disavowed by Harlan Ellison featuring a moustached Keir Dullea (2001), firmly demonstrating that Canada can make sci fi far far cheesier and with way more chroma keyed effects and weird synth music than any Dr Who episode produced during the same period. There are only 16 merciless episodes - but any one would be glorious if possible. Thanks for all you do!!!

  7. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (1973)

Very creepy made-for-tv horror flick about a woman being terrorized by evil little gnome-like creatures which dwell in a house she and her husband just inherited, starring Kim Darby and Jim Hutton. Again it's a classic as far as I'm concerned and has a great cast, but there's PLENTY for the Rifftrax boys to poke fun at!

The three reasons for Rifftrax to tackle it:
1 - The creatures, there's LOTS of opportunities to poke fun at their appearance and make up dialog for them.
2 - The elderly handyman who knows far more than he admits to, riff-worthy for…

  8. Arnold's Wrecking Co. (1973)

Arnold is an uptight business major who spends his summer vacation building a multi-million-dollar pot-dealing enterprise, complete with group insurance and a little league team. Unfortunately for Arnold, the idea of "big pot" didn't go over very well back in 1973.

Writing, directing and co-starring trifecta for Steve De Souza, his first professional attempt at all three roles (IMDb). Hard to believe this is the same guy with writing/screenplay credits for several big hits: 48 Hrs (1982), Die Hard (1988), Die Hard 2 (1990) and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994). Less hard to believe: Commando (1985), The Running Man (1987),…

  9. 13 Ghosts (1960 version)

Greetings! I have been a fan of yours since MST3K was on SciFi. Last time I made a suggestion it was for Miami Connection. Imagine my delight when you riffed it later that year!😁

Anyway, I think 13 Ghosts would be perfect for riffing. Of course I don't mean the remake with Tony Shaloub--which I didn't even realize WAS a remake! I caught it on Turner Classic Movies once during Halloween. It is just cheesy enough to be riffable, but not so awful that you can't bear to watch it. I loved it, and was actually interested in how it…

  10. Zombie High

This movie is absolutely begging to be Riffed. It was apparently meant to be set in a college setting, but was changed to a high school Because Reasons. This results in the least convincing teenagers ever, as everyone that's a student is clearly in their twenties despite the film trying to pretend like they're in their teens.

The film also features a "love triangle". Why is this in parentheses? Because the film can't quite decide whether they want the professor character (yes, the love triange involves two 18-year olds and a thirty-something year old teacher ala a male Mary Kay…

  11. Killer Force

When Christopher Lee, Telly Savalas, and OJ Simpson are all in a movie about a diamond heist, you know it's gonna be riffable.

  12. The Clown That Laughed

This Movie is the inspiration for DC Comic's "The Joker." I think it'd make a good riff and it's probably public domain due to age.

  13. Sonic The Hedgehog (2019)

This movie looks just plain ripe for the riffing, not to mention terrifying.

Besides, think of all the potential throwing digital hedgehog lips together with Jim Carrey has.

  14. Tales from beyond

This is a horrible attempt at a horror anthology, hosted by TV's Batman, Adam West as some sort of deranged bookseller. It's got dream ghosts barfing apples, evil remote controls, time traveling diners, poor acting and a budget consisting of four dollars and a half eaten Subway Cold Cut Combo. This is a treasure trove of cheese ball goodness.

  16. Disneyland 1955 Opening Day Telecast

ABC's Telecast of the Opening of the famous theme park is a not well produced and amateur film making complete with musical numbers, Cold War Paranoia, celebrity guests, 50s American cultural ignorance, deformed looking mascot costumes.

  18. Zanadu

Many movies from the seventies deserve to be beaten with a club. None more than Zanadu for attempting to squash "Saturday Night Fever" and "Grease" into roller skates. How many hips did Gene Kelly break in shooting this by the way!

  19. Toys 1992

    Toys (1992)

What can I say about this movie? There is so much bizarre stuff going on and yet it still manages to drag on and be boring in many spots. I have no idea how. From the robot sister to that military guy that can hide himself anywhere with camouflage (even a flower printed couch!) and orchestrating an entire music video just to distract some guards there is no end to the strange things this movie has.

It also has Robin Williams in it.
