  2. Add categories for riifs per streaming service

I realize it would require maintenance to stay current, but if you could collect (at least some of) your movies by streaming service, that would make it easier to shop and sync. For instance, I watched Wonder Woman 1984 last night on HBO Max using the app, and it was a great experience. If the app could let me know what other HBO Max titles I had in my library -- and suggest some I need to purchase -- that would be cool.
You could add a link to each service's page asking for help adding and removing titles and…

  4. My Refuge (2013)

This low budget project was shot without any script and it shows. Random storylines start and go nowhere, sorta like the plot. Unbelievable acting. A cringe worthy reconciliation scene between an unfaithful husband and his wife that deserves a riffing in this era of #MeToo.

  5. Sudden Death 1977

It's a Eddie Romero film and it's got John Ashley in a 70s white man fro and **** stache! Nuff Said!

All I ask is that you use my joke for the beginning.
A family barbecuing all serene and normal before bullets fly.
"Frank Castle and his family enjoying a pleasant afternoon."

  6. Even cowgirls get the blues

Uma thurman plays Sissy. A hitchhiker with giant thumbs. There's an all female run ranch, an eccentric weirdo in a wheelchair (who sissy knocks out with her thumb...) Feeding cranes peyote, and a standoff with the government. The book by Tom Robbins is a fantastic read;I highly recommend the book... The movie is ludacris and bad.
Reasons to riff it: The acting isn't there.
So much was cut from the story that the movie doesn't make sense.
The costumes and special effects are really strange.

  7. Tail Sting (2001)

Next to SuperVan, this is one funny movie on its own. Maybe you shouldn't riff it, it's that funny. Snakes on the Plane with scorpions!

Funny dialogue, fights and just plain wacky (see what I did there!).

  8. The English dub of Devilman (2004)

It's considered one of the worst anime movie adaptations of all time, to the point that Devilman fans actually have a day to 'mourn' the film's (original Japanese) release every year, that's how bad it is. (https://soranews24.com/2016/10/11/movie-fans-pay-respects-on-the-12-year-memorial-service-of-the-live-action-devilman-film/)

Apart from that, it's a terrible film in general; plot points are constantly dropped and skipped over without warning, the special effects are hot trash, and the English dub is way over the top. Not to mention this film is completely batshit insane, especially if you take a lot of the scenes out of context:

  9. A Belly Full Of Anger

Even the most jaded among you will be disgusted by the sight of it! Can you stand the frankness of truth behind every scene? Deranged killers who use an acrobatic form of boxing called 'kung fu' - their art is murder, their tools are their hands and feet, the canvas is anyone in their way... beyond the dreams of the most brutal butcher... an army of men ripped to pieces by justice... the law of the jungle is shown in all its savage horror through the use of techniques of terrible bloodflow... John Yohan Chung and Don Nguyen lead a…

  10. Return to Savage Beach

Pretty much any Andy Sidaris films or Julie Strain films. They're fun but they're pretty bad! Guns, Savage Beach, Return to Savage Beach, Fit to Kill, any or all would be a blast. You may have to edit out some of the nudity to do it though.

  11. Stage Door Canteen (1943)

This "movie" is a fluffy little propaganda piece about sending the Boys off to beat the tar out of Adolf. What makes it fun though, is all the random celebrities who put on acts (my favorite being Ray Bolger).

There's a lot to unpack with this one, but i think it would a lot of fun for the guys to riff, or even Mary Jo and Bridget.

Its also public domain, so that's a plus.

  12. Basmati Blues

A musical with Donald Sutherland, Brie Larson, Scott Bakula, and Tyne Daly. It is about agribusiness and India. A cross-over riffing team would have fun with it.

Currently “free” on IMDB TV. Also available for free on Peacock.

  13. Target...Austin, Texas (1960)

The folks at Rifftrax haven't riffed a civil defense short in a while. This ultra-low budget one was filmed in Austin, Texas for a local TV station. In spite of the grim subject matter, there's enough weirdness to riff over, like the extremely cramped fallout shelter in one family's home, the secretary who freaks out during the bombing (and turns into an extra from CARNIVAL OF SOULS), and (most especially) the idiot who disobeys all orders, and essentially winds up as compost. The full short can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCQePqXEwwA .

  15. The Spirit of Christmas (1953, short from Bell Telephone)

This half-hour short was produced by Bell Telephone for the Philadelphia area (near me, as it turns out--our local PBS affiliate WHYY usually runs it even today). Except for a bit of live-action, it is performed mostly by marionettes.

The first half of this half-hour short (after an intro by some Bell executives, and a short prologue showing Clement Clarke Moore getting the inspiration for his new poem) is a dramatization of "A Visit From St. Nicholas", or, as we know it, "Twas The Night Before Christmas." This does have its charming moments--the miniature sets are quite lovely and detailed--but…

  16. Greyhound Attack (2019)

Director / Editor/ Producer / Writer / Composer / Cinematographer thinks putting two actors in front of a camera on an obvious stage and having them one of them immediately start talking makes a movie. Bad acting, barely existent plot, student film grade graphics made on a cheap computer program and an airplane cockpit with obvious plywood sides are just some of the stuff to riff on this indie gem.

  17. They Call Her Cleopatra Wong (1978)

Bring in one Asian super spy, mix with a tad of James Bond, and then drop it on the floor to stir and you get this crapfest. So fun.

  18. Daddy Dog Day, aka Quigley (2003)

It is a sort of Christian message about redemption, but it stars Garey Busey at his most confused and Busey-est, a baffled Oz Perkins and a cute dog. A cute dog that is actually Gary Busey, being Gary Busey.
All great ingredients, which add up to so much less than you'd expect.

  20. **** Night (1st word= H E double toothpicks, curse word so I guess RiffTrax can’t spell it out)

This is a 1981 Horror flick with Linda Blair, Vincent VanPatten, and Peter Barton. Four college pledges experience initiation by spending the night in a deserted old mansion. Haunted? Who knows. The acting is fairly decent (well, ok, at least better than Birdemic). IMDb gives it a 5.8.

Ripe for the Riffing cause ... well, it’s a 1981 Horror flick. Also, it has lots of no-dialog scenes (for tension & scare factor?) just begging for great Riffing and bantering ... the kind that RiffTrax does so well!

**** Night can currently be streamed Free on Tubi and the Roku Channel…
