  1. Apache (c 1970s)

Although this was riffed by Guru Larry, this is one short the RiffTrax Crew should do. Originally a British short, the misleading title is not about Native American kids getting picked off Hitchcockian style. But instead dealing with the dangers of the farm.

Think of it as 'Shake Hands With Danger' meets 'Danger! Keep Out' but in a more gruesome tone.

Basically it's about Danny and his friends playing on the farm, and how each one gets picked off in normal, as well as bizarre ways. And that Danny is the most cold-hearted bastard in the entire short, no really.

  2. The King Is Alive

    The King Is Alive

    1. Roger Ebert said of this movie, "I imagine that many people would be actively hostile towards this movie."

    2. It is a Dogme95 movie, which means it was created using the following set of rules called "The Vow of Chastity":

Shooting must be done on location. Props and sets must not be brought in (if a particular prop is necessary for the story, a location must be chosen where this prop is to be found).
The sound must never be produced apart from the images or vice versa. (Music must not be used unless it occurs where…

  3. Justice League of America

This is the REEEEALY bad 1997 made for tv movie with David Ogden Stiers as Martian Manhunter, gut and all. This was almost as painful as the Star Wars Christmas special. Someone sent me a copy of it years ago. I will gladly mail it to you for you to feast your eyes on the glory of badness that was the JLA movie. This movie is just begging to be riffed.

  5. A Christmas Melody (Hallmark Channel) RiffTax Live!

Hallmark Christmas movies are great fun and cry out to be riffed. It would be awesome to see this done as a live event for the holidays.

    Here are 3 good reasons:

    1. Hallmark Channel movie

    2. Miriah Carey - Acting!

    3. Miriah Carey - Directing!

The lighting & camera effects on her own close-ups are so bad it's good.

  6. Home Alone (1990)

What to say about this Christmas "classic". Horrible and neglectful parents, a bratty kid who gets everything he wants with almost no consequences for his actions, incompetent yet homicidal burglars who threaten to bite a child's fingers off. All the things you would expect in a 80's/90's family film! I have to give credit to Chris Columbus and John Huges. Few people are bold enough to turn a tight home invasion thriller into a Christmas comedy. Plus this movie gave the world Macaulay Culkin, that alone is a big enough sin to warrant a Rifftrax.

  8. The Kingdom of Could Be You (First Episode)

This is the first of a TV series produced for children in the 1970s about what they could be when they grew up. As encouraging as it was meant to be, it just turns out to be goofy, complete with standard early-1970s animation.

  11. Firepower (1993)

In the year 2007, crime has risen at an exponential rate. Once highly populated metropolises such as Los Angeles are no longer inhabitable. These cities have transformed into "Hell Zones," ruled by violent street gangs. The Hell Zone, formerly called the "Zone of Personal Freedom," is a safe-haven for criminal warpaths everywhere. This Hell Zone in LA is controlled by a criminal mastermind named Drexal (Joseph Ruskin). For the sake of entertaining his crowds of decadent losers and underlings, Drexal has staged a series of lethal, no-holds-barred matches in the "Death Ring," where the winner takes all of the glory...while…

  13. Friday the 13th in 3-D

This third installment of the series makes the move from horror movie to slasher flick and every scene and plot point is painfully contrived to advance the story. Add to that an early attempt at 3-D moviemaking, and you get some truly tragic scenes.
You also get a nice shot of a camper singing in an outhouse.

  14. Katy Caterpillar (1984)

You've seen the mind fucks Mexico produces with live-action movies for kids, but here's their attempt at an animated feature. Katy is a caterpillar bored with her dull life, so the disembodied voice of Mother Nature sends her on a journey of self-discovery. Along her way she meets many strange creatures, few of which contribute anything to the plot aside from heavy-handed, half-assed morals. Highlights include a gang of racist chameleons, a big-boobed spider who talks like Mae West, and liberal use of Katy's catch phrase, "Whippity-pow!"

Here's Infamous Animation with a more detailed look:

  15. Daniel - Der Zauberer

    1. This movie has been in the "top 10" of IMDB's "Bottom 100" page since, well, forever!

    2. Daniel Kublbock, the star of the film, not only came from one of those "Idol" shows; he looks like Michael Jackson!

    3. Ulli Lommel directed this! (Nuff said!)

  17. FeardotCom

The Internet, how the f$%* does it work? The writers of this film certainly have no idea. This film is about a live torture website that is haunted by the ghost of one of the victims, so whoever logs into it has 48 hours before they will be killed by their worst fear - including any cops who look at the site trying to solve the mystery of her death. "Help me, but you looked at the sight so die..." Also, the name of the website is http://www.feardotcom.com - yes, that's right, Fear dot com dot com!
    Terrible writing and…

  18. Silent Hill

    1) It's Carnival of Souls meets City of the Dead and is less comprehensible than Bermuda Triangle. 2) It thinks it's deeper than it is and needs to be deflated. 3) It has plenty of well known actors. Also, while it isn't a good film it does have some visually impressive environments and creatures. And its widely available online for cheap!

  20. Death Dream 1972/Dead of Night 1974

This horror film is about a soldier who dies in Vietnam- or not- and how his family deals with him being dead - or not- and he could be a vampire zombie with a real individuation problem- or not
it's seriously seventies and feels like an expensive home movie that was filmed in constant "movie" darkness- think Attack of the Eye Creatures, without the loveable characters- There really aren't any famous actors except for veteran actor John Marley who was in The Godfather and Hooper- here's the trailer and the IMDB link
