Roar
As the production of Roar involved lions, tigers, and other dangerous animals, it is unsurprising to learn that people were injured during the production. But 70 sounds like an exaggeration. In fact, one of the film’s stars, John Marshall, confirms the math is inaccurate. “Actually I think it was 72,” he says.
Most dramatically, the film’s director of photography Jan de Bont—later the director of Speed and Twister—needed 120 stitches after being essentially scalped by a lioness. “I got him on the way to the hospital, and I went into the office and said, ‘Okay, we need to get a…

Death spa
This movie has everything. Horrible acting. Horrible dialogue. Horrible special effects. Horrible 80's workout wear. A... plot? Story? Maybe? It's hard to say.
We know some guy owns a gym/spa, and his wife is dead. Her ghost might be haunting the spa, or else her crazy brother is exacting revenge by hacking the spa's NASA-grade computer system that they totally have... it's unclear.
The spa also has a dungeon basement. This is important.
Nothing makes sense, it's impossible to care about any of the "characters," plot lines are introduced at random and abandoned immediately...
This is a train wreck of…50 votes -

Enemy Mine (1985)
Starring Dennis Quaid and Lou Gossett Jr.
Fighters from two different species are stranded on a planet and must learn to work together. This movie is equal parts watchable and riffable, right in the sweet spot for an excellent riff. The Randy Quaid jokes alone make it promising, but there are so many 80s moments that make it ideal.

Arena (1989)
An excellent riff subject.
It features televised human vs alien boxing, a four armed short order cook, at least 2 actors from deep space nine and 1 from Babylon 5.
Set on a space station, a Christopher Reeve lookalike goes from vagrant to heavy weight contender overnight.
Though terribly melodramatic, its actually not a terrible film to watch on its own, but if riffed will be a classic addition to the riff Trax library.

silver bullet 1985
a film adaptation of the short story "cycle of the werewolf" originally written by stephen king. Red flags go up in my mind immediately anytime I see a film adaptation of a king story; always horrible. This film has to be the highest touted "werewolf film" that never fails to deliver many dark and laughable scenarios and very little werewolf. As if this isn't enough to work with they throw in a mid 80's pre cycling accident, yet still unrecognizably less brain damaged; taking any role he can get after the buddy holly story, Gary Busey. If that still doesn't…

X Files: I want to Believe
RiffTrax Presents needs to take on the 2008 "follow-up" #X-Files movie "I WANT TO BELIEVE" via another 2 Riffer Team up Bill Corbett (a.k.a. Burrito Eating Man) joined by former #MST3K colleague and #CinematicTitanic diva Mary Jo Pehl (a.k.a. Nap Taking Woman) to again decipher just what the hell Duchovny is saying. Maybe another Kevin cameo too.
Reason One: The 2008 2 Riffer commentary Bill and Mary Jo did on the First film is highly rated of the Riff-I-meter.
Reason Two: Like the initial Riff this one could be timed with the Release of new XFile material like the series…

Alien Resurrection
As a huge fan of offbeat French cinema, I absolutely adore alien resurrection. However, as a fan of movies in general, I can't help but wonder who the hell thought the director of Delicatessen should make an aliens movie. Shoutout to Sigourney Weaver beating Ron Perlman at basketball and for the nightmares the Ripley clones give me to this day.

The Dungeonmaster (AKA Ragewar)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089060
There aren't a whole lot of movies asking to get riffed more than this mid-80's gem. Almost magical glasses and wrist watch combo that can make any electronic device do what the main character wants, a wizard that looks like a caveman who makes bizarre challenges for the hero, a sound track made for your Atari 800, and more!

Malignant
This movie was mad to be a Rifftrax. A horror movie about a secret conjoined parasitic twin hidden inside the main characters head! With superpowers. This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen.
1. Backwards bendy ninja powers?
2. Fight scene in a fog filled underground old-fashioned stagecoach storage?
3. Like all the great Rifftrax, it was meant to be serious. It was meant to be scary. My friends and I couldn't stop laughing at the terrible plot, execution, and magic head baby.48 votes -
Captain Marvel 2019
This film has bad acting, male bashing, and a disappointing answer to the question of why nick fury wears a eyepatch, 90s references, i think bridget and mary jo should riff the film, maybe as a reference to how the star of the film doesn't want 40 year old white guys reviewing it and bridget and mary jo are definitely not 40 year old white guys
