  1. AVH: Alien vs. Hunter

This movie is a Sci-fi/Horror that is a cheap ripoff of the AVP franchise. The dialogue is ridiculous and the "special effects" are laughable (in one scene you can clearly see they used a Matchbox car). The IMDb link is https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1094162/ so you can see it for yourself. This movie pretty much makes fun of it's self!

  2. Firetrail (2014)

According to IMDb, Christopher Forbes was director / writer / actor / cinematographer / editor / camera and sound department on this meandering tale of people caught in the path of Sherman's March to the Sea. Apparently there's two versions, Forbes' original 179 minute project and a truncated 82 minute version released on DVD, but could length save this poorly shot, poorly edited and poorly written Atlanta-fire? Would we rather watch nearly three hours of wooden, high school drama club level acting? Would we rather see three minutes instead of 30 seconds of poorly lighted scenes of burning modern outbuildings…

  3. Night of the bloody apes

The plot of this movie alone qualifies it. A surgeon transplants the heart of a gorilla into his sick son to give him the strength to recover from a disease. It's fantastic how they try to legitimize the vauge medical and scientific terms being used.

Then out of nowhere it suddenly begins to focus on the relationship between a detective and his luchadore girlfriend. Yup. You read correctly.

How do these 2 compelling tales collide? Dare you brave the Night of the Bloody Apes to find out?!

  4. Below The Belt

A women's wrestling movie released in 1980 about a waitress who becomes a lady wrestler. It has some moments which could stand some riffing-type commentary.

  5. Cameron's Closet

Its Halloween time and I saw a movie called 'Cameron's Closet' pop up in my suggestions in Amazon Prime. After watching the first 11 minutes and one of the funniest decapitation scenes ever put to film, I knew this would be Rifftrax gold.

  6. Desperate Lives (1982)

This is the ridiculously scary anti-drug "Afterschool Special" that was notable for starring Helen Hunt. When she hosted SNL, it was the butt of jokes for her monologue. Particularly the window jumping scene.

  7. I Accuse My Parents!

It's one of the best MST3K episodes, so it's dying to be redone. Mike and Bill need to make their mark on it. We need more RiffTrax features with essay contests as a plot point.

  8. Unexpected Race (2018)

"A young woman discovers an elf hiding in the woods, but he is the last survivor after an FBI agent was sent out to destroy them. As they fall in love, Lythorin must decide if he wants to stay with Amber or remain alone."
The Backstory: Director/Writer Stephen Groo was approached by a documentary film crew, and they said "we will finance your dream movie if you'll let us film the process." so the dream movie he makes is Unexpected Race and the documentary crew films their movie The Insufferable Groo. Groo is notorious for making bad films and has…

  10. Love On A Leash

Love On A Leash is a truly strange film, with a perhaps even stranger story of how it came about. This film is truly, honestly deserving of the Rifftrax treatment. My partner and I sat and riffed it ourselves, but it's always better to hear someone else's take.

This film has everything. A sad woman in a green apartment, who also only owns green things, which goes uncommented-upon the entire movie. It has magical CGI glitter straight from animatedgifs.com. It has bizarre and seemingly-random sound cutouts. It has a voice actor for the dog who was, and this is true,…

  14. The Timber (2015)

Called pretentious by some and brilliant by others, this sleep inducing Western from writer / director Anthony O'Brien suffers from poor pacing and editing. There's a cannibal that comes out of nowhere and just disappears.

  15. Libero (1973)

This is one of those movies you'd think nothing could go wrong. It's about the soccer career of Franz Beckenbauer, with Franz Beckenbauer playing himself along some stars of the contemporary movie scene of the 1970s. It's something you would expect to sell just even if it was just 2 hours of Beckenbauer looking into the camera. However it got so bad, the director and author got blacklisted till the 1980s.

The 3 good reasons for the movies are:
    1. it's incredibly pretentious
    2. sound so bad scenes with dialogue are barely understandable
    3. 1970s beards and sideburns

  17. Nancy Drew (1995)

Nelvana did a multi-episode syndicated series in the 90s featuring a very Canadian Nancy Drew. This is currently available to watch on Tubi. Jon Cassar directed the syndicated series. Not quite the same as the Batman serials but quite worthy of riffing.

  18. Wonder Woman '75 Season 3 Episode 12 - "Gault's Brain"

Guys. I've been watching the Lynda Carter WONDER WOMAN show and stumbled across this gem. John Carradine stars as a brain in a jar with one eye ball connected to it. Plus, the brain inflates and deflates like it's also lungs? It is wild. Luckily, WONDER WOMAN is on HBO Max, same as other things you've riffed like GAME OF THRONES. I think this one would be well worth it (even if you only release it as a Just the Jokes) and a ton of fun.

  19. A Wrestling Christmas Miracle (2020)

Um...? A quasi-anthology adjacent sequel to A Karate Christmas Miracle (2019)?

"An 11-year old phenom wrestler with an undefeated record, Kace Gabriel [retires from] the sport to write/direct a movie. He believes that if the film makes his best friend, Charlie, laugh on Christmas Day it will awake the boy from a coma."

This and A Karate Christmas Miracle could give A Talking Cat a run for it's pretentious, poorly acted, terribly edited crown as one of the worst and most painfully preachiest movies of all time. Plus, it has Gilbert Gottfried for some freaking reason.
