  1. Night Train to Venice

Three good reasons? Oh, there are so many, but I'll try to narrow it down to three.

    1. Hugh Grant and Malcolm McDowell starred in it. Hugh Grant has called it the worst movie he ever made. Malcolm McDowell doesn't talk about it at all.

    2. The plot is so convoluted that I'm not even sure I'm summarizing this correctly, but as I recall, Hugh Grant gets on a train to get his book about neo-Nazis to a publisher. He falls in love with a woman on the train who made a deal with the devil to become an actress, but forgot…

  2. Electrojuice

In 1991, someone decided it would be a good idea to make an "educational film" about the dangers of electricity using a Beetlejuice knockoff as the villain (and kind of the teacher as well). This so-bad-it's-good short is roughly a half-hour and is ripe for Rifftrax treatment.

  4. Overkill

First it stars aaron Norris (chucks less charismatic brother) with a character name right out of the reb brown/miles okeefe action movie name generator “Jack hazard “ the plot is he goes on vacation after a botched cop thing and goes to South America and at the hotel runs into a dude that needs help and pretty much starts a war Norris family style

  5. "RiffTrax, please riff Skateboard or Die

This movie says it's about a martial artist skater....except the guy can't fight and they very badly CGI his skating. The Plot is horrible, the blood in the shoot outs are all badly computered with what looks like a 90s program of some kind. The acting is 'very do you lift bro-gym' ish.. All this being said...I think my favorite scene is the Call Your Brother scene, it's a true moment in bro-gym cinema.

  6. Marvel's Inhumans

Maybe riff one or two of the pilot episodes? I think Kevin Feige might be glad someone is getting some sort of enjoyment (even if it's indirect) from this failure of a series that thankfully isn't canon for the MCEU.

  7. Lady Chatterley

The Ken Russell 1993 version of Lady Chatterley’s Lover with Joely Richardson and Sean Bean. There are many reasons why this should be riffed but the main three are:
    1. The **/*** tree
    2. Sean Bean is very ‘attacky’ in this love affair. Think he must have read notes on how not to woo a lady.
    3. The weird dwarf woman/girl/wife (?!) in the last episode. No explanation of who she is and the few lives she does utter belong in a totally different film, maybe a low budget 80s horror.
Not to mention the unfairness of complete…

  8. Tomorrow's Children

1934 melodrama on forced sterilization which befell 60K americans.
In public domain; on youtube. Take a look.
    1) outrageously funny like "More dangerous than dynamite".
    2) has a lady as drunk as Foster Brooks.
    3) has incompetent m.d.; same actor as quirky scientist on Sup
    erman tv show.

  10. Return to Savage Beach

Pretty much any Andy Sidaris films or Julie Strain films. They're fun but they're pretty bad! Guns, Savage Beach, Return to Savage Beach, Fit to Kill, any or all would be a blast. You may have to edit out some of the nudity to do it though.

  12. deadly blessing

An amusing 80's horror movie where Ernest Borgnine says the word "incubus" about a million times. A plethora of beards, kid whipping and random nudity are scattered about this film like tracts on a street corner. It's like a movie of the week made by Italians involving cultists and horse buggies.

  13. Lifepod (1981)

Low budget 90min SciFi movie from 1981. Best described as a cross between the movies 2001 A Space Odessy & Space Mutiny ! Not to be confused with a different & much better Lifepod space movie from 1993. BTW, I've been a Mystie since 1991. Keep up the great work you guys !

  15. Jiu jitsu

The performances and editing was so flat that it made the appearance of Nicholas Cage unbelievably delightful. Call it quirky of you want but the guy does bring energy.

  16. mortdecai

It's difficult to fully appreciate the insaneness present in Mortdecai with Johnny Depp. Is it the utter disregard Depp has for any sense of normality? The bizarre situations he gets in or just plain weirdness of this film? Granted, it's no "Supervan" or "Cats" but it is a recent, big ticket film that's just waiting to be riffed.

  17. Invisible Child (1999 TV Movie)

"A woman with two children believes she has three and her husband and oldest daughter play along with her to keep her balanced (or as close to balanced that a woman with an invisible child can be). However, when the family hires a new nanny, it is all just too much for her and she starts to blab." IMDb plot summary.

Tragedy + z-grade thriller set in a singular location of an elevator + time = Riffing comedy?

This one made Brad Jones' Worst of 2020 list.
