  2. Weasels Rip My Flesh (1979)

Returning from the planet Venus, an errant NASA spacecraft crashes into the ocean, spilling its radioactive cargo. Enveloped by a radioactive mass, a rabid weasel is transformed into a gigantic killer mutant. Prowling the countryside, the huge weasel kills and devours victims. The creature is captured by a disturbed scientist who plans to use its regenerative blood to amass an army of similar monsters, enabling him to conquer the Earth.

What makes this movie different from other 70s horror films is that it's actually a super-8 movie by a 16-year old that somehow got released on DVD.

  4. Solomon Kane

James Purefoy is a warrior in the 17th century who is so good at slaying that his soul becomes cursed by the Devil's Reaper. He is finally convinced to live as piously as possible but wouldn't you know it there are still plenty of people that need slaying. Purefoy's badass-ness is so undeniable that he, in a moment of weakness in which he let himself be crucified, he gets really really angry and tears himself of the cross to go kick Medieval asses all over again.

  8. Outcast (2014)

Hayden Christensen plays (surprise surprise,) a wounded warrior/petulant child with an opium habit, delivering his line which sound lifted from SW series (up to and including his interest in a Princess) wanders access ostensibly ancient China before coming upon Nick Cage (oh yeah) doing a very bad grumbly pirate accent. Please, must do!

  11. Star Wars: The Legacy Revealed (History Channel Documentary)

History Channel Documentary waxing rhapsodic on the depth of Star Wars with politicians like Newt Gingrich and various celebrities and college professors. When the Droids were compared to an Ancient Greek Chorus, I almost lost it, until I heard what they had to say about Jar-Jar!

  12. Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2

A group of movie fans head into the woods around Burkittsville, Maryland to find out for themselves what happened to the filmmakers in the original "Blair Witch Project". This one has enormous potential for riffing - there's a drunk pregnant girl, a redneck sheriff, a barking dog alarm, and of course...witches!

  13. Wild at the Wheel

This 1970s driver safety film follows Kenny, a teenager trying to be cool by speeding and driving aggressively. While looking down to change the radio station, he drives off a cliff, rolls his Mustang, and dies. The whole 10-minute film is narrated by a traffic investigator who goes into ridiculous detail psychoanalyzing Kenny in an attempt to determine his motivations for speeding, including interviewing his father, brother, boss, and teacher. Also, the soundtrack is damn funky. Major plus: the pauses in the narration are the perfect length for riffs. Watch it here: http://youtu.be/dJGuoiCiS9Q

  14. Aspen Extreme

This 1993 'skiing' drama is advertised on the DVD cover as Top Gun on the slopes. While the acting is semi-believable, the combination of cliche sports action/love quadrangle/bromance and other sudsy tropes (complete with bro catfight), blatant plot holes, those awful neon, onesie outfits from back in the day, big hair, an "I'm soooo eeeeevil" antagonist, French head instructor/boss, and ridiculous stunt skiing scenes that were mostly filmed in British Columbia, prove it's no Top Gun. However, it's got loads of Rifftrax potential for the 80s Cheese category, despite the belated release date.

  15. Arena (1989)

    An excellent riff subject.

It features televised human vs alien boxing, a four armed short order cook, at least 2 actors from deep space nine and 1 from Babylon 5.

Set on a space station, a Christopher Reeve lookalike goes from vagrant to heavy weight contender overnight.

Though terribly melodramatic, its actually not a terrible film to watch on its own, but if riffed will be a classic addition to the riff Trax library.

  17. Dunderklumpen

Swedish film from 70s about a troll bringing toys to life to keep him company.

Early attempt to mix animation with live action.

To sum up in riffrax terms it's sort of "who framed the ice cream bunny"

  18. Amadeus

Yes, I said Amadeus. As you've already proven, there's no law that says you can't riff GOOD movies. I'll even provide a riff for you:

(In the beginning, as Salieri's servants break in to find he has cut his own throat with a razor:)

"I dunno...Sweeney Todd just does NOT work as a one-man show."
