  2. Velvet

Made for TV movie from 1984. I was literally reminded of this just now while watching MST3K - Being From Another Planet, because both star Shari Belafonte. Caught Velvet one morning on TBS while skipping class. What is Velvet? Remember Fox Force Five from Pulp Fiction? Well, that's basically what this is.

On the cursed island continent of Lodoss, a party of adventurers becomes caught up in the struggle against a plot to conquer Lodoss and revive a long-dormant ancient evil deity. This thirteen-part Japanese television series is based on a series of Japanese novels, and is notable among other things for its inclusion of elements from the Dungeons & Dragons (TM) role-playing game.

  7. My Bloody Valentine (1981)

MBV is my wife's favorite Valentine's Day tradition. It's chocked full of the vapidly boneheaded of all ages. There's the old sheriff who seems to have almost no sensory apparatus of any kind; minor miners who treat a coal mine like an only slightly dirtier than usual frat house; and a bunch of people who insist upon doing pretty much exactly what you'd expect them to do. They're all Upper Peninsular types who only think with their lower peninsulas. And the guys are even worse.
It should only cost about $4.78 Canadian to rent the rights to this subterranean no-scare-fest.…

  12. Rifftrax, I'm begging you. Please riff Creepshow 3!

The talents of the Rifftrax crew could make the horrendous Creepshow 3 perversely enjoyable. PLEASE DO THIS FILM! It's the worst 1992 film made in 2006.

  15. Terminator (original 1984)

This classic is just right for riffing. It takes itself way too seriously. There are a multitude of intense stares and pregnant pauses throughout that are begging for commentary. Also, one should never pass up an opportunity to mock 80's fashion choices.

  20. eXistenZ

Cronenberg re-imagines Videodrome....With eXistenZ "A game designer on the run from assassins must play her latest virtual reality creation with a marketing trainee to determine if the game has been damaged." Lot's of wait, what is reality? Elements of Matrix, 13 Floor, House of Leaves, and all with less body horror than even Nightbreed.
