2. The Instructor

   This movie was made in my hometown, Akron, Oh in 1980. I have fond memories of the premier held at Akron Civic Theater, one of those old movie houses with an orchestra pit. It was cheesy then and doesn’t hold up well, but I love it. The production is on par with Touch of ***** and Kill or Be Killed. It’s ripe for your treatment. Please watch it, riff it and let me know.    Lorenzo Lamas in a science fiction retelling with a production value slightly above Birdemic. The only thing more awkward than the acting is the scoring. It's ripe for riffing.

5. how to beat home video games

   in 1982, vestron video did a series of walkthroughs of games on atari 2600, atari 5200, intellivision, colecovision and vectrex called how to beat home video games. it's only 3 volumes and also 1 hour long each. the only reason why you should find it riffable is because nobody cares about these systems anymore.

   Sweet Sea was produced by Tomy in 1985. It was a very short lived sea themed series which included one doll, four friends, fashion, cosmetic accessories by Avon, jewellery and a 30-min animated video. i must tell you however, it's anime-influenced cause tms entertainment made it, veteran osamu dezaki made it and vestron video's children's video library made it. it's fun to riff because all our favorite tv show characters from the late 90s and early-mid 2000s learned to do it too. you know which ones i'm talking bout willis. shows that currently rerun on mtv2 and fuse and fuse music.

   Dixie's Diner was produced by Tyco in 1988-89 and was a 1950's style diner. Along with the main Diner playset there were several additional items which were sold separately to add to the diner. There was also eleven poseable figures produced as well as a VHS cartoon. the story line says "Come on down to Dixie's Diner and enter a whimsical world of laughter and fun. A world where every kid can live out their wildest, most hilarious dreams. Where you can dance as long as you want, sing as loud as you want, and feed your face on an endless supply of chocolate shakes and sundaes. It all spells fun and romance with a CAST of frisky loveable and talented Rock 'N Rolling kids. Dixie's Diner. You're going to love this place!" truth is is that it actually involves a gang of teens trying to save their beloved diner. interestingly, it should at least be compared to china's decade long video game ban and how sony interactive entertainment and nintendo tried to speed things up to get that ban lifted. playstation 2 came out at the very very very very very beginning of the year 2004 but 18 months later they closed down in shanghai and moved to beijing with only 10 measly games released and were never heard from again. nintendo on the other hand made a company called ique and their wingman was a scientist that designed the nintendo 64 and gamecube systems architech. first was an n64 plug n play that had 14 games you could download onto the system. the gamecube was never released it shoulda been though. they had plans. the game boy advance and nintendo ds were also released but not many games. there's actually a video game expo called chinajoy and in 2005 they tried to make a splash crash so they could release as many games as they want but didn't due to high piracy. they tried to release the wii but evaded and released it in taiwan,hong kong and south korea instead. the line was drawn with the 3ds. nowadays nintendo teams up with tencent to release the switch in china. and those are the reasons why you must riff this movie.

8. P.J. sparkles

   P.J. Sparkles is a 1992 animated television special produced by Mike Young Productions. The special was more-or-less an advertising vehicle for a Mattel doll. Jodi Benson, best known for voicing Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid franchise, voiced the title character. the only reason why you should riff it is because you can compare it to sly 2 band of thieves.

10. Summer of fear

    This 1978 made for Tv ' horror movie' is directed by Wes Craven and stars Linda Blair, here sporting a perm much scarier then anything in the exorcist.
    She plays Rachel who's family take in her cousin Julia after her parents die in a car crash, and who then proceeds to charm the rest of the family and generally try to usurp Rachel at every turn.
    A bout of hives,a couple of strange wax dolls with hair on ,a stolen boyfriend and a dead horse later Rachel begins to suspect there might be something a bit fishy about Julie.Who might as well have had the word WITCH tattooed on her forehead for how little she's tried to hide it anyway.
    Of course this leads to an epic battle of magic and untold horrors as Rachel tries to save her family from the evil sorceress.But as this is a 70s TV budget that just involves a wind machine and some funny contacts, followed by an occult and mystical ( Checks notes) err car chase.
    Personally I felt Witch curses were probably only slightly less creepy then Rachel's brother who spends the entire movie trying to get Julie to go out with him and yet not one person slaps him and points out that she's his COUSIN. But hey I'm old fashions like that.
