  5. Showdown

This was one of Christine Taylor's first movies, and it's a very corny retread on The Karate Kid, except Billy Blanks is teaching a "teen" to fight bullies after he starts at a new school. It's a Rifftrax dream.

  7. Superman Fleischer cartoons

These cartoons from the 40s are beautifully animated and are so fun to watch, yet I csmt help but think some riffing might make it even more fun (the robots alone are worth it). There's also not a lot of dialogue, so there's plenty of space for riffs.

  8. Stiff Odds

Stiff Odds is one of the most bizarre movies of all time. The story is insane, the characters are aliens (not literally), the dialogue is made up of lines too weird to be in an epsiode of Twin Peaks, and the camera and audio are horrible. It is an absolute bout of insanity that makes Manos look like a masterpiece.

  10. The Panther squad

Sybil Danning is a tough government agent, who puts together an elite squad of 80s models...Sorry fighting force, to take down an eco terrorist group who have seized control of a space rocket and taken an astronaut hostage.
If this sounds amazing it's because it is!

The sets are shoddy, the stock footage and effects stolen from other films are glaringly obvious, and the acting is awful.
But from the moment it starts to the second it finishes not a second is wasted on silly things like making sense or continuity. And instead we are treated to 77 minutes of joyful…

  11. Alpha Gateway

An Australian film with parallel worlds but instead of sliders we have microwave oven type devices as the portals. Kinda crazy, kinda kooky, and nobody seems to be able to land on exactly the correct world. Beautiful vistas in Australia, though.

  13. Deadly Discovery (1992)

When I was nine years old, the producer filmed this movie in the small Indiana farm town where I still live today. A shed is blown up at the end of the movie; that scene was done on my family's property, and there is another scene where my dad (who owned a local construction business) got to crush a car with a bulldozer. It is one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and there are plenty of opportunities to make fun of the terrible acting, cheesy fight scenes, and even a dash-cam car chase escape scene right through a…

  14. Speak No Evil

I present for your consideration 2014 direct-to-DVD horror endurance test "Speak No Evil." 38 children go missing in a small desert town and re-appear as possessed zombies wearing matching T-shirts. Features C-level acting filled to the brim with the constant shrill screaming and boring apathetic hipsters, interspersed with cutaways to inexplicable, tonally mismatched psychedelic visions. The central demon creeps around wearing a donkey mask from time to time. Nothing makes sense.

  15. Replicas

A modern take on the Frankenstein archetype story. Reason #1 to riff this movie: it stars Keanu Reeves, who I am convinced is a piece of 2x4 lumber dressed in human skin, doing his one-note method acting. Reason #2: certain gaps in logic appear in the film, such as how it takes exactly 17 days to clone a human as he or she appeared at the time the DNA sample was taken, but each progressive day accelerates the aging process. That's just one gap, but there are plenty others scattered throughout the movie. Reason #3: plenty of pauses between dialogue…

  16. The machine girl

In The Machine Girl (2008), a low budget Japanese action flick, high schooler Ami loses both her brother and her arm to evil Yakuza bullies. Worse yet, they are not just Yakuza--they're Yakuza ninjas! Replacing her missing limb with a machine gun, she sets off for bloody revenge, but must match skills with all sorts of deadly assassins and outlandish weapons, including a drill bra. Yes, that's right, a drill bra. It's like a weaponized Madonna.

  18. Pokemon Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution

Mewtwo Strikes Back: EVOLUTION, also released as Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution,[a] is a 2019 Japanese computer-animated film directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara. The film is the 22nd installment in the Pokémon film series and a CGI remake of the first film. The film was animated at OLM's CGI unit. CGI is great for some 3D animated movies but Pokemon isn't one of them.

  20. Atlantis The Lost Continent

George Pal's "sword & sandals" epic about the continent of Atlantis, multiple voices by Paul Frees, all voices dubbed. Production values are a bit shabby, but impressive at times. Altogether a very enjoyable and riff-worthy movie, not widely seen anymore.
