2. A Christmas Tail

   A boy gets turned into a dog after mispronouncing a wish to a shooting star following some questionable advice from a hobo named "the professor." That line is "Wishing star, I want...ah! A bee!...a dog for christmas," and the writing doesn't get much better from there! The plot follows the boy turned dog's hijinks, and we meet characters like the old women who thinks the dog's her relative reincarnated, the neighbors who drive 100 miles to find a christmas tree and take the dog along, and a fight between a nobel mountain lion and a bear... with reaction shots of a dog nowhere near that national geographic stock footage.

   It's like Willard if instead of rats, the person has power to control snakes! A young girl is bullied at her new school so she unleashes her power upon her tormentors so probably a Carrie meets Willard movie mashup, which means it is ripe for riffing!

4. There's Nothing Out There

   You'd think it's a ***-obsessed high schooler's attempt to shoot a Scream sequel on no budget, but this horror satire impressively predates the first Scream movie. And that's the only part of this movie that will impress you.

5. What Happens in the Mountains - Should Stay in the Mountains

   I just watched a short film (41 minutes) on Amazon Prime that makes Lycan Colony look like a theatrical masterpiece. "What Happens in the Mountains, Should Stay in the Mountains," stars Buck Swinger, a Bigfoot hunter, and a name that would scare the boogers out of any Skunk Ape. He hunts Bigfeet in Northern Georgia, because there is an abundant population that kills locals, and apparently he is the only person for the job. He is followed and documented by an emaciated Karl Childers, who is only in the film for five minutes, before tragedy befalls him, and he is forgotten about for the rest of the film, until the very end. There is so much absurdity in this movie, that I could write a college thesis on all its wackiness. I'll try to keep it short. The cameraman likes to play with the zoom button, pan away from the actors in the middle of a scene, and use the wipe feature to transition to the next scene. A few times at the beginning of the film, curse words are audibly bleeped out. Felt like I was watching an episode of Maury. The crew, for some reason, inserts random Bigfoot trivia text throughout the film. There's so much music played, that I think the movie was an excuse to promote the crew's album. About every 5-10 seconds, Bigfoot makes a screaming moan that sounds like a feminine Homer Simpson finding a donut. Bigfoot, itself, is the cheapest costume the crew could find at Party City. It's not all bad, a gas station clerk named Gary is probably the only good actor in the film.

6. original gangsters

   Original Gangstas is a 1996 action-gangster film filmed and set in urban Gary, Indiana starring Blaxploitation film stars such as Fred Williamson, Pam Grier, Jim Brown, and Richard Roundtree. The film is directed by Larry Cohen, his final film before his death in 2019.
   The film details the deteriorating state of an impoverished Gary neighborhood terrorized by a street gang called the Rebels. When the gang murders a local boy, it prompts the emergence of several individuals who grew up in the neighborhood: the original members of the Rebels.

8. Stowaway to the Moon (1975) (TV Movie)

   An 11 year old boy, who has always been fascinated by space and astronauts, wishes he could go into space also. So of course it should be easy to get into Cape Kennedy, up the launch tower, and into the capsule. Naturally when something goes wrong on the journey, he will save the day.

   I wasn’t sure if I had actually seen this movie or if I had dreamt this bizarre movie where for some reason a space ship has a Hoover vacuum cleaner to suck up the vomit from astronauts by a child maid. Let me ask Google; “Hey Google, what’s the name of the movie where a kid stows away on a spaceship and vacuums vomit and does chores?”

   Google: According to Wikipedia Stowaway to the Moon is a 1975 television film directed by Andrew V. McLaglen and starring Lloyd Bridges among others. Eli ("E.J.") Mackernutt Jr. is an 11-year-old boy who helps clean the cabin and perform other chores.

   Ok, so I wasn’t dreaming this movie. So I check out YouTube and find the full movie is available and find the puke scene is at the one-hour mark.

   If your kid has dreams of stowing away on the SpaceX Dragon, just show them this movie to show them the less glamorous side of space travel full of cleaning, vacuuming puke, and cold cold nights.

   Reason 1. It has Morgan Paull who was also in Mitchell

   Reason 2. It’s billed as a dramatic special but I think they mean special in another way.

   Reason 3. Everyone will be on their seats wondering if Lloyd Bridges will be sniffing glue

9. RiffTrax, please riff 'Hereditery'

   Terrible. Oh...so terrible. When my friends and I walked out of the theatre we just looked at each other and man we collectively felt so icky at the end. I personally felt the need to take a very long shower after. UGH.
   If ever a movie deserved riffing...this was it.

11. The Yesterday Machine

    1 hour and 18 minutes of unbelievable dialogue. Explaining the action instead of showing it. Lots of running places and going and coming that keeps you confused. That's OK to be bewildered; you'll make-up a better plot then the time traveling 30 year old teens and guessing police that never really look for clues or for our missing pep squad twirling co-ed. Hunting the woods in heels and I don't know what she was wearing. Watch the great costumes of gaffer taped NAZI pant cuffs, great fist fights include the cameraman.And actor grab ***. It will be a classic. What an unusual jazz music choices...hep cat's...I guess.

14. The Cursed (2010)

    It’s a cheesy low budget monster movie set in a small town in Tennessee. It was shown on SyFy and is currently on Amazon Prime. I’d particularly like to see it get the RiffTrax treatment because I had a very, very small part as an extra during the town hall scene. Not many things could make me happier than being in a RiffTrax movie. And the film definitely deserves everything they could throw at it.

15. Worm Eaters

    A Ted V. Mikels masterpiece, this "film" from 1977 has everything you'd want in a film:

    An annoying tune, sung throught the entire opening by a xhoor of brats

    A loner hillbilly who talks to worms

    Worms who understand said hillbilly .

    Hillbilly who takes order from worms.

    Hillbilly tricking townsfolk into eating worms.

    Townsfolk turning into worm-men, who just look like 70s dudes in sleeping bags.

    Worm-men demanding the hillbilly make them some worm-women so they can populate the world with a master race of worm-people.

    AND a budget so low, you wonder if Ted Mikels forced his "actors" to eat real worms.
