   70s somber GM internal corporate film where Chevrolet takes a look at how it thought the foreign invaders, “The Bug” and the “Japanese Beetles” (Toyota and Datsun) could easily put the automaker out of business.

4. The Silver Spear (1978)

   The single most bizarre and entertaining Chinese martial arts extravaganza ever made. The Silver Spear is actually the villain in this film, but he's not the worst villain in the story. Oh no. The worst villain is a vampire.... we think. We're not sure because he has plastic Dracula teeth and never bites anyone. But make no mistake, he is the worst. He has no peers. He has no family, no friends, no morals either. In fact, he's lacking about 9 other things too, thus his name: "No Thirteen." Because, when a villain chooses a scary name, the most appropriate thing to do is to be named according to the amount of THINGS you DON'T have. This starts out as 4 warriors competing for the hand of Madame Green Plums daughter in marriage, and turns into God knows what. Like I said, this one is in a class by itself.

5. Tokyo Gore Police

   One of the most depraved films any human being has ever seen. This is where over-the-top meets the stratosphere. This is the sum total of what happens when you drop the atomic bomb on a culture. Around the time this movie was made, kids in Japan had a fad where they'd inject saline into their faces so they'd look like they had a bagel protruding from their head. I could be wrong, but my theory is that director Yoshihiro Nishimura wanted to either comment on the ever-escalating obsession with self-modification, or just completely out-shock everyone. Probably the latter. Actress Eihi Shiina is the cop who has to purge Tokyo of its so-called "Engineers," human genetics modifiers who fantastically transform their bodies into weapons. Again, there is crazy content in this one, so in the right mindset, it's all very interesting and eye-opening. In the wrong mindset, you'll curse me just for suggesting it.

6. Fire Birds (1990)

   From 1990 comes a Top Gun ripoff, but with helicopters rather than planes. And yes, much better than the stunts in Blue Thunder. Starring Nicolas Cage and Tommy Lee Jones with Sean Young appearing as well. Reasons for riffing?
   1) The hokey dialog. The "Teenagers" series has more modern dialog.
   2) Aside from "Spikers" this fills in the lack of "Top Gun" ripoffs in the riff library.
   3) It's got Nick Cage acting overly earnestly and Tommy Lee Jones chewing scenery.

   For the love of all that is holy, please riff Step Up 3!!! It’s is the most perfect riff movie of all time. From boom box man-*****, a singing in the rain crime streak, to a wall of “weapon” sneakers. Is absolutely...perfect.

9. Cellular (2004)

   Cellular is a movie where Chris Evans' "character" attempts (and fails many times) to rescue whatever Kim Basinger is suppose to be. A victim? Technologically knowledgeable? Unable to do kung-fu? I don't know, but I don't think she can do much against her captors anyway, which include lead robber, Jason Statham....'s character. And knowing what he can do...yeah, she's hopeless.

   Evans receives a call from Basinger - it gets better - who is held captive by Statham, and won't let her loose until his demands(?) are met. Evans takes it as a prank, per typical teenager, but twenty minutes later, gives her a shot, per egging from his non-important friend. From there, it spirals into many S-bomb drops & mediocre acting, to scenes of the robbers for little to no reason except to remind you "Oh hi. We're still robbing...sorta."

    The film follows Violet Song Jat Shariff (Jovovich), a woman infected with hemoglophagia, a fictional vampire-like disease, in a future dystopia where anyone infected with the contagious disease is immediately sentenced to death. With her advanced martial arts, a group of rebel hemophages, and a boy named Six (Bright), whose blood may contain a cure for the disease, Violet goes on a mission to overthrow the futuristic government and defeat Ferdinand Daxus (Chinlund).

    This is a great movie because

    Ultraviolet takes place in 2078, in the years following a global epidemic that causes vampire-like symptoms, including super-human physical abilities, a healing factor and elongated canines. The infected "hemophages" die within twelve years after being infected. The "Archministry", a militant medical group headed by Vice-Cardinal Ferdinand Daxus, has taken control of the government and begun rounding up infected citizens and exterminating them in order to contain the virus.

    Having been infected a decade earlier, Violet Song Jat Shariff has become a member of an underground resistance movement fighting to protect the hemophages from the government. Working with the resistance, Violet steals a weapon that was supposedly designed to exterminate all hemophages, only to discover that it is a young boy named "Six". Rather than kill the child, Violet flees with him, believing that a cure for the disease can be reverse-engineered from the antigens before he dies from them.

    Violet eventually converses with Daxus, who tells her that the boy is his son, but she does not believe him. Instead she takes him to her friend Garth, who tells her the boy has no antigens and he has no value to anyone. Garth also tells her that the boy has a tracking device embedded in him ("so hot he's nearly radioactive"), that they can track him easily and he has only 8 hours to live. In the meantime, Violet's resistance handler Nerva reveals to her that the antigens in Six's blood are actually deadly to humans.

    Furthermore, Daxus clarifies that the boy is his clone, his previous claim to her being a ruse to earn her sympathy. Since the hemophages are nearly exterminated, the Archministry intends to engineer a new plague to maintain its power. When Daxus refuses to give her the cure, Violet escapes with Six and lets him spend his last moments at a playground. Daxus arrives, shoots Violet, and takes Six's body for dissection.

    Violet is revived in the facility run by Garth, and she realizes that Six might not actually be dead. Violet storms the Archministry and reaches a laboratory just as Daxus is about to begin the dissection. In the ensuing fight, Daxus reveals that he uses enhancements he gained from an accidental exposure to the hemophage virus to aid in his rise to power. Violet kills Daxus and leaves with Six's body. Six later wakes up, having been immunized by the hemophage virus in Violet's tears. It is theorized that Six might, after all, be instrumental in formulating a cure for the hemophages, although it may be too late for Violet (who is nearing the end of her 12 years).

15. Scarab (1983)

    A downright confusing horror movie, with a ton of sub-plots. Starring Robert Ginty, Rip "Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine?" Torn, a bunch of Spanish actors and a few Swedish ones!
    An Egyptian spirit of a Scarab is conjured up by a Nazi (Rip Torn), and mayhem ensues.
    A reporter, played by 80's go-to B movie actor, Robert Ginty, is hot on the trail to unravel the mystery of... SCARAB!

16. erik the viking

    A Viking with a conscience, Erik (Tim Robbins) tires of pillaging and decides to set out on a quest.     An obscure horror film from 1983 also known as Zeder. A zombie movie that is missing one of the core elements of a zombie film...the zombies! Watch as a man reads the ribbon of a used typewriter to figure out about special places in the earth where the dead can be reanimated and thrill as we really do not get to see this happen all that much!

18. Alien Trespass

    A quite lame attempt to do a 50's style movie, pretty much fails at every level. Lame SFX, Robert Patrick phoning it in. The guy from Will and Grace as a kind of moronic. And a monster who looks like a **** that borrowed an eye from the Crawling Eye and a tentacle from a great Peter Cushing movie, Island of Terror. This really needs to get riffed. 19. Dead Dudes in The House (1991)

    The film follows a group of teenagers who travel up to a dilapidated house for some fixing up. Unbeknownst to them, the house is occupied by a murderous old woman and her sultry daughter, who proceed to pick the teens off one by one.
    Full of fun, cheese, and dark scenes that you can't make out anything in. The guys on the poster aren't even in the movie. Are you 'Hangin Tough' enough to check this out?

    Rushon (Tommy Davidson) is sexually pent-up and ready to take thing things to the next level with his girlfriend, Nikki (Tamala Jones).
