  5. Kung Fu - The Invisible Fist (1972)

This is an extremely important bad kung fu movie that is often lost in the shuffle because there are so many other films referencing fists and kung fu and things that are invisible.
This is a film with largely the same cast as "Ninja Warlord" which you recently riffed. But this one is really more hilarious and bizarre.
Reason 1: Joker has magical jumping prowess.
Reason 2: Human trafficking 101 - just put people in individual wooden crates for easy shipping.
Reason 3: 20-minute long end fight scene -- longer than anything you've ever imagined -- which features impossible trauma…

  8. Okefenokee Joe's PBS educational movies

    I grew up watching these and met Okefenokee Joe as he would come to our school with snakes and what not. Okefenokee Joe's PBS educational movies are ripe for the riffing. The link is below;

He sang on them about swampy the dog and sketter the cat who got eaten by an alligator so he replaced him with another cat and called him sketter. He always talked about being swampwise too, lol. Still makes me laugh almost 33 years later.

Love your work past and present. I grew up watching Joel and the…

  13. To Boldly Flee

In 2012, an internet reviewer decided to retire his character* the only way he knew how: in a 3 1/2 hour long movie. Highlights include: a cast of other reviewers who clearly don't want to be there, barely disguised (if disguised at all) plot points lifted straight out of other movies, and a finale wherein the reviewer meets the guy who plays him (basically, the same guy but less shouty).

*said character would come back only a few months later

  16. ****, or Tidewater

Available on Amazon (free with Prime)
    Trailer: https://youtu.be/iZlGk8O1kcY

Plot synopsis: Set in the near future, ****, or Tidewater is a thrill a minute underwater submarine action/sci-fi film told through the eyes of Lt. Cmdr. Allan Parker, a 40 something Sea Dog with a chip on his shoulder. The action surrounds the controversial Canadian energy industry and their longing to bring a pipeline to Tidewater.

    1) Some of the most awful line delivery I have ever seen in a movie
    2) The final CGI looks like late 90's era mockups, the costumes are dollar store level, the Russian cyborgs especially should…

  17. Barbie and the Rockers: Out of This World/Barbie and the Sensations

Okay. This is a more of a blatant push to get people to watch Alison Pregler's YouTube channel. But since it's a two part set of shorts where Barbie travels to outerspace to a flower shaped space station and then accidentally travels back to the 1950s? I think Mary Jo Pehl and Bridget Nelson would work wonders on a perfect rifftrax commentary track.

  19. Hercules and the Masked Rider

Not really a Hercules movie. It’s more about the Masked Rider than anyone else. The story is a romance novel trying to start. Rough editing. Open space after dialog. Alan Steel. 1963. Sword and Sandal genre, but not Greek or Roman. More swashbuckle-esque Zorro.

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1518861/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

    Three Reasons:

    1) A large passenger plane is tootling about with 1.5 hours until landing, but the landing gear is down.
    2) On a different flight you can see a storm is raging from the cockpit view, but cut to the passengers and the windows are nice and bright.
    3) "It would be risky, but we do have a modified jet that could be used for an air-to-air transfer. We developed it for refueling." This jet just happens to be an SR-71.

Bonus: the journalists assistant is named Jimmy.
