  1. "Evil Laugh" 1986 movie starring Scott Baio's brother Steve

Evil Laugh is a low budget slasher flick starring Steve Baio. One of the murder scenes is death by microwave. That says it all really.

  2. The Toolbox Murders

For my fellow MSTies who have already seen the film, you know why this would be a perfect film for Mike, Bill and Kevin to riff.

  3. Malibu Spring Break (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379363/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1)

Like all twenty-somethings living in Orange County, CA, my buddy wanted to become an actor in Los Angeles. He got cast in a straight-to-DVD movie called Malibu Spring Break. Myself and another friend of ours were invited to the premiere and sat through this "sexy" abomination staring a Playboy Playmate and my actor friend in the tiny role of "Pizza Guy". Is this film soft core pornography with the nudity on the cutting room floor? The world may never know. Please watch, won't we?

  6. The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

A classic western ripe with opportunity. Plot devices that make no sense. Long stretches of wordless glances. Lee Van Cleef which alone should be enough. It's another great chance to test your riffing skills on a beloved classic.

  7. Mulholland Drive

Of all the movies I have ever seen, this one takes the cake as the worst. Practically plotless, dull as watching an apple brown, and a terrible morose ending that only David Lynch could provide.

  9. Swan Lake (1981)

This old Toei Animation film has a fairy tale theme and uses classic music from Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

This movie should definitely get a good riffing! :D

  10. Monsters (2010)

In this tale of reverse Avatar, where humans accidently bring glowing aliens to Mexico and can't get them to leave; writing, directing and even the visual effects are done by Gareth Edwards. We follow a cynical photographer and some women he may be professionally related to as they try to get back to America through the "Infected Zone". The characters take the danger about as seriously as you would take the film as a whole. Let's just say all involved will be saying "I'm glad that's over!" by the time the credit roll in the unriffed version.

    If nothing else,…

  12. Titanic 2

If it sounds like a sequel to James Cameron's love boat gone wrong...it's not. However, it has all of the hallmarks of a low-budget, modernized version of its successful predecessor.

  15. Stalked (1969)

    https://archive.org/details/Stalked1969

A half-hour long, ostensibly religious, film that is a blend of Carnival Of Souls and The Prisoner. A purveyor of sideshows experiences a homecoming in a vacant town, haunted by the spectre of Art Brut Christ, and pursued by a naked Dutchman. Can the burning barrel organ save him?

    I love this film.

  16. Veronica Mars

It beat out the Rifftrax Kickstarter and then couldn't make its money back at the box office - even with its established audience. Doesn't that say enough about how great this would be to riff????

The riffing might actually get more ticket sales than the initial movie :)

  19. Starship (1985)

Because it is (1) "The adventure of a million lifetimes"
    (2) the robots all look like creepy versions of Buck Rogers' Twikki
    (3) Deep Roy gets top billing
    (4) it has the alternate marketing titles "Lorca and the Outlaws" and "2084"
    (5) and finally, it features a song titled "The Lion of Symmetry"
Need a say more? It's a double stinkburger with cheese.

  20. The Water Babies

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078477/

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid and, so help me, I cannot figure out why. For some reason, while running from a false charge, a boy falls into a lake and forms a ragtag band of misfits including a Scottish lobster, French swordfish, and gay seahorse. How all of these things found their way into a small English lake is anyone's guess, but they free a race of enslaved underwater children with the help of the kraken, who for some reason is played by King Neptune instead of the giant ravaging monster it's supposed to…
