  4. Why Study Home Economics? (1955)

    Again from Young America, the companion piece to MST3K's "Why Study Industrial Arts?" Just as in that film, a high schooler consults with the home ec teacher, who seems to be convincing herself more than the audience of the need for her classes. You have to love the 50's sentiment of the high school girl who is convinced that she's going to be a "homemaker all her life," and that her first home may be (gasp) a TRAILER (!!!)     Deep Space (1988)

    Synopsis:

    An American satellite with a new biological weapon gets out of control and crashes onto US territory. A slimy monster emerges and manages to escape, killing everyone who crosses his path. Police Lieutenant McLemore gets the job to stop the killing machine.

    I can't tell if this is a student film, a passion project, or just a quick cash grab, but the alien in this "movie" is like a cross between Mac from "Mac and Me" and Shrek, with a dash of Hobgoblins.

  8. unknown world (1951)

    A bizarre film from 1951 where a paranoid scientist convinces others to build and pilot aN underground submarine down a volcano to a new world at the earth's core. Some elements were supposedly used in The Core movie. Combines 50's paranoia with weird science and stereotypical characters to make a riff worthy mess.

  10. Let's Make a Meal in 20 Minutes & Let's Make a Sandwich (1950)

    "Let's Make a Meal in 20 Minutes" AND "Let's Make a Sandwich" from our friends at Simmel-Meservey, makers of the MST3K favorite "A Date with Your Family." Speaking of which, both shorts star "Daughter" from that timeless classic (and the sandwich short also features "Mother"). Both show the viewer the fun that can go into the preparation of food, no matter how unappetizing the final result is. Each short is only about 4 minutes long, so pairing them would be a good idea.   13. Spooky House (2002)

    Essentially this film is “Cool as Ice” if it mixed its cold medications, fell asleep watching Harry Potter, and dreamt it was a kid’s movie. I just finished watching it and am experiencing that special reality-questioning bewilderment you only get from the finest Rifftrax films. Why does it need to be riffed?
    1. Ben Kingsley, (AKA the Great Zamboni), and his removable mustache live with a jaguar in a papier-mâché castle in front of a ****** matte painting. It might actually be a church, (there’s a graveyard), or possibly every Scooby Doo episode made three-dimensional.
