  1. Iron Mask

This "movie" is like a bad dream you can't wake from. I was drawn in when I saw it featured Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan in their old age but quickly found this film had little to do with the characters, an iron mask, or any semblance of a plot at all. Instead, it's a Russian/Chinese collaboration film featuring low-budget CGI, poorly choreographed fighting, and good-old bad acting.

I had to turn the movie off halfway through. Please help me finish it.

  2. Doctor X 1932

Someone is killing and cannibalizing people during the full moon! Which of the super suspious people could it be? The guy who wrote the book about eating people, the guy who totally ate his shipmate, the guy who is missing parts of his body, or the crazy doctor who thought it was a great idea to have these people work for him? Also there is a scene in which everyone allows themselves to be handcuffed to a seat with a murderer in the room. But you know what this film needs more of? Bumbling police guy who has the hots…

  3. Happy **** Night (1992)

Reasons this movie should be riffed:

    1. Killer who speaks like the chimp from Carnival Magic

    2. Run-of-the-mill cheesey horror-slashers are always good for riffing

    3. The film has a catchy theme song.

  4. The Double O Kid (1993)

We get early 90's Corey Haim who is in his mid 20's playing a 17 year old James Bond type.Nicole Eggert, Karen Black, Brigitte Nielsen, and Wallace Shawn. No spy skills or charm and all of the 'Parker Lewis Can't Lose' wardrobe. This deserves a riffing.

  7. Toxic Zombies AKA Bloodeaters

Early 80's horror film made by complete amateur film makers. The director/ writer/ star of the movie was Charles McCrann, whos day job was that of an investment banker. The movie is complete amateurish, bad acting, dialog, etc.. sad side note, On September 11,2001, McCrann would perish in the terrorist attacks that day.

  12. Demonoid from 1981

It's a movie about a "devil hand" that possesses people's hands and kills. Straightforward except for the gratuitous prosthetics, seizure inducing demon imagery, and as always, vague plot with campy acting. (Sorry, not much parking.) Thought it would be a nice succession.

  13. Sudden Death 1977

It's a Eddie Romero film and it's got John Ashley in a 70s white man fro and **** stache! Nuff Said!

All I ask is that you use my joke for the beginning.
A family barbecuing all serene and normal before bullets fly.
"Frank Castle and his family enjoying a pleasant afternoon."

  14. 100% Coco (2017)

English dub that possibly uses 30something actors for teens? Might be a good entry to expand the riff market to Gen Zers.

  15. Phobia

Phobia (1980) is a low-budget horror film about a psychiatrist facing the ever-growing possibiliy of losing his innovative treatment program as each of his patients are mysteriously being bumped off, one by one, in ways that relate to each of their biggest fears (e.g. agoraphobia, claustrophobia, etc.).

Reasons as to why this film should be riffed on:
    1) It was directed by John Huston, a name that the RiffTrax gang is very familiar with, so the riffing possibilities there are endless
    2) The film stars Paul Michael Glaser as the lead, making room for as many references to "Starsky and…

  16. The Willies (1990)

A horror anthology starring Sean Astin, James Karren, Clu Gulager and a few of the "Growing Pains" cast. It has one of the best scenes ever involving a microwave and a poodle.

  17. Sharkman aka Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy (2005)

I picked up a 2 disc set of low-budget made-for-Sci-Fi Channel and direct-to-video shark movies at The Dollar Tree and this one stood out. It's mid-2000s cheesy Sci-Fi Channel goodness with the always fun Jeffrey Combs hamming it up and gorging on the scenery as a mad scientist who wants to cure cancer using shark DNA. Fun Saturday matinee Sci-Fi Horror entertainment.

  18. Cosmic Sin (2021)

Another sadsack Bruce Willis paycheck flick for him to phone it in....
500 years in the future and their driving around in 21st century SUVs and fighting with basic handguns.

Production value challenging the cheapness of Asylum, if channelling Ed Wood.

  19. Target...Austin, Texas (1960)

The folks at Rifftrax haven't riffed a civil defense short in a while. This ultra-low budget one was filmed in Austin, Texas for a local TV station. In spite of the grim subject matter, there's enough weirdness to riff over, like the extremely cramped fallout shelter in one family's home, the secretary who freaks out during the bombing (and turns into an extra from CARNIVAL OF SOULS), and (most especially) the idiot who disobeys all orders, and essentially winds up as compost. The full short can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCQePqXEwwA .

  20. The Vampire of the Opera

If you can find an English dubbed version it would be a perfect movie to riff.
