Blood on the Bayou
This is possibly the best/worst movie I've ever seen. The story of a small town private detective who's dragged into a story full of political assassination, fake blood, poorly-lit night shots, a trip to the strip club, and a surprise ending that lets us know the "hero" is much more than he seems. Reasons you should find/watch/Riff this:
1) It was filmed in my hometown (Abbeville, LA; the same city the 1988 remake of "The Blob" was filmed; you'll see a lot of the same locations)
2) The gubernatorial candidate that's assassinated (spoiler alert? It doesn't matter) is played by…

From the Orient with Fury
An Italian version of James Bond featuring 077 Dick Maloy. The fight scenes were choreographed by the same people who did the "Guy From Harlem" The plot is a scientist who developed a weapon capable of disintegrating solid matter is kidnapped by bad guys. And he has a hot daughter who is engaged to a Russian. And the Russian isn't one of the bad guys, but could be, maybe. Also, as close to the Orient this movie gets is Rome. And the hero gets into many brawls, destroys many place and no one minds. And his boss smokes a cigar.…

The Astral Factor
I don't know you didn't hit this in your MST days. It's candy to the eyes featuring all shades of drab but especially drab brown, drab green, and drab gold. The edits were jarring and left me disoriented once; there's a scene of Elke Sommers by the pool in her bikini wesring what appear to be ivory stockings, and they explain everything that is happening as they go along leaving the viewer to focus on the three main colors of the film without distraction. Please! For me, your long-time fan, Michele.

Action Jackson (1988)
An easy, lazy-day target for the Rifftrax crew, ripe to be riffed. Stars Carl 'Apollo Creed' Weathers as a Harvard-educated cop-with-a-grudge, looking to call out chump Peter DeLaPlane, played by Mike's cousin (?) Craig T. Nelson, doing his best to be a bad dude. Sharon Stone, as his one-note trophy wife, and Vanity as his heroin-addled bit on the side, or a cardboard cutout, hard to tell.
At least one riff is already built in for the Rifftrax crew...two of the generic henchman are on a boat, telling each other "guy with no arms and legs" jokes, then suddenly one…

Bigfoot's Wild Weekend
Bigfoot partying in the woods with washed up porn stars and terrible actors. Bigfoot drinks, smokes weed, has sex with everyone, and dances with glowsticks. You can't get any better than this, this movie will change your life.

Hands of Steel/Arms of Steel (1986)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clczS9Wp-gI
80's cyborg/cyperpunk movie. One of those movies where they speak English, but a large part of the actors are Italian.
I remember this movie well from my childhood. It was one of the very first movies we had on VHS at home. Must have seen it several times every week during my childhood. I think it could be a good title for the Rifftrax library.

Dark Shadows (2012)
Johnny Depp and Tim Burton teamed up to adapt the TV series that inspired their careers. The original series was captivating in the BEST and WORST senses of the word. The wild imagination in the ongoing storytelling was amazing. The production value and bloopers (it was live-to-tape and aired daily after all) made it 'enjoyable' on a completely different level. Somehow, while attempting to embrace the kitsch, Burton and Depp managed to make a product that caused more second-hand blushing than the original series.

I don't think I CAN describe it... I mean... The 8 minute trailer really... Says nothing as well, but seriously, it exists.

Beau Geste (1939)
First, it's easy to access at this point if only to research: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukZ0qaqpKs4 has the whole film.
Second, it's structured well for it. Plenty of long shots with only music carrying some scenes with mundane goings-on. Dialogue's spaced well for quick jabs. Characters are reliably archetypal.
Third, it's a good movie but it is what it is. Had four future Oscar winning actors in it. It's straight adventure genre pre-pulp, like Tin-Tin or whatever Indiana Jones is based off of. Ridiculously melodramatic but Saturday morning cartoon-vibed premise. (Dude steals a gem because he wants something out of the estate of…
