   Richard "Have Gun Will Travel" Boone hops into his drill car, drills under the Arctic, finds a lost valley of dinosaurs, and commences to shootin' because he's a MAN and MEN have to HUNT. A 1977 co-production by the people who brought us "Ultraman" and also the people who brought us "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town", this wild TV movie is jam packed with rubber suit monsters and sweaty sexism (Richard Boone's character is named "Maston Thrust") as everybody involved looks off-camera for that bottle of whiskey they stashed under a fake boulder, or a phone so they can call their agent and get themselves out of this mess.

11. Noel (1992)

    A Christmas movie for people who think Christmas doesn't have enough existential dread. A Christmas tree ornament is brought to life by a tear of joy and experiences generations of Christmases. Sound cute? It isn't.

    -The main character is insufferable. Sounding like Putt-Putt minus the complexity, he annoys everybody by announcing "My name's Noel, and I have a happiness!" Yes, "A happiness." It's never corrected. There's also the weird affection kids have for him, even though he's the most generic red ball ornament you could find. They even kiss him! What kid kisses Christmas ornaments, even ones they like?! Even the other ornaments on the tree (they're alive too even though they didn't get that tear of happiness, so much for Noel being special) are annoyed by him.

    -The annoying tendency to call every concept "the thing called _____". Once or twice early in the movie would've worked because Noel is supposed to be innocent and learning about the world, but they never stop! It's like the movie was written by Fawful, except it's not funny!

    -The story is downright nihilistic. Noel gets to watch the Christmas tree that was nice to him get thrown out, then get stuffed back in the attic, followed by several others. The kids who loved him so much grew up and moved away without actually getting names or developing relationships with him, and are never seen again, while the parents grow old and die. The house is just forgotten for decades until another family moves in, with a new ornament-kissing kid who also has no name or character beyond really liking this ornament for some reason. Noel gets put back on the tree, but the other ornaments are thrown out to their apparent death as they beg to be put back on the tree. Noel himself breaks shortly after, but it's okay, he's just shed his mortal coil and become one with happiness, spreading his dark influence around the world. Happy...Holidays?

    Even Charlton Heston as the narrator can't make this movie work.

14. Night visions

    Night Visions is a low budget direct to video cop film starring two Rifftrax veterans: Cynthia Rothrock and Fred Williamson. Fred plays “The Skid Row Cop” Dakota Smith!!! He is engaged in a personal rivalry with the Video Stalker, a serial killer who videotapes his victims before, during and after killing them. There is even a midget sidekick. Yes, you read that right. This must happen. So my three reasons are as follows: Dak, QuickDraw AKA Cynthia, and the Newt, the dwarf I nicknamed “Wesson” as in Smith and Wesson. You’re welcome.

15. Goldfinger (1964)

    ♫Goldfinger! He's the man - the man with the Midas touch!♫

    One of the more famous 007 James Bond films, starring Sean Connery.

    Premise: While investigating a gold magnate's smuggling, James Bond uncovers a plot to contaminate the Fort Knox gold reserve.

    Reasons for riffing it:
    1. We need more James Bond riffs
    2. It's classic
    3. There's a lot to make fun of, such as the villain almost winning (which Bill can riff thinking Goldfinger will get away with nuking Fort Knox), some of its campiness, and how dated it is.

17. Smith School of driving (ca. 1960)

    The "world famous" Smith School of driving is still active, so I doubt you could get permission, but the old-school driver's ed. films (somewhere from mid-'50s to late '60s I'd guess) are pretty damned funny, and ripe pickin's fer riffin'. Smith is a cantankerous pedant who likes to refer to trucks as "billboards" and admonishes drivers to "give the signal" (presumably their middle finger) at parked motorists as they pass. Nothing tops the combination of educational film cheese, with middle america values cheese, with ****** mid-century car cheese, with an over-determined and "five point system" taken all too seriously cheese, and the stilted attempts of a crotchety adult toi imbue proper skills in sixteen-year-olds who are just happy they aren't watching Blood on the Highway.
