An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedIn some ways, it's the perfect Cage movie since he has no dialog as near as I can tell! A Five Nights at Freddie's with Nic Cage...pretty much perfect on many levels.
Here's my take on this film. Cage is an angel sent to clean up the town of this demonic funhouse. Why do I think this? Well, he never says anything and angels are know to be quiet unless God wants them to say something. Second, he has zero problem tearing up these demonic animatronics. I mean he literally tears them apart. Thirdly, he keeps his promise to clean up the place. Lastly, he saves the only innocent in the whole bunch. It might be good for a riff...

An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedTruly a funny movie. A number of scenes, like the opener, make you think an 80's music video is about to break out. There's a character who's just a head for most of it and Rutger Hauer with a look on his face most of time that says "Just what was I thinking to star in this mess? Oh right, money."
Very worthwhile to riff....

An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedSeriously, if you can riff Shrunken Heads or Stitches then you can riff Llamageddon! It was filmed as a comedy and has many, many riffworthy moments. I mean it's not quite SuperVan funny but it's still pretty nuts.

An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedA pretty funny movie...there's one scene where the Army brass are talking to a scientist (with the ugliest beard in history) about another scientist's wormhole studies and they ask the first scientist if he's seen the second scientist to which he replies "Yeah, about 15 years ago". But this first scientist looks like he's 30, maybe. So, I'm thinking "Yeah, when I was twelve and he offered me a ride in his van." I mean the female lead looks at this scientist and you almost can see her swallowing puke from looking at his beard.
Crazy CGI effects don't help...really riff worthy on many levels (after you riff "Cats" or "Supervan" of course).

An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedSo riff-worthy on many levels...70's cheese, yeti promotions, flamethrowers, obvious toy helicopters and just plain nuttiness! Seriously, this is prime riff material that practically writes itself! In the league of "SuperVan" craziness.

An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedThis is great riffing material. There's the random praying scene, lots of walking scenes, the lost wallet nail biter and so much more! The yellow pages search scene with ominous music had me on the edge of my seat! I practically jumped when he slammed his fist on the yellow pages and said "Ha!". You don't find action like that in just any Stallone (Frank) movie! Please riff it!

An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedVery funny movie...on par with SuperVan. Half the time it isn't taking itself seriously and the rest of the time it's a boob show. I mean there are actual ***** for some reason and then there are people playing *****. At one point the bad guy tells his henchman "If brains were bird ****, you'd have a clean cage!" Seriously!

An error occurred while saving the comment Vic commentedThis seems pretty riff-worthy with wild characters, a cool monster and actors standing in front of obvious matte paintings...I mean really close to them. The story is pretty decent too.

This really, really needs riffed! I mean it has so many riffable scenes and moments I lost count. From Kong scratching his butt on the way to the shower to bizarre middle Earth scenes to the final fight it is full of riffs.
Terrific special effects, but then it is the 21st century, with characters so forgettable they really weren't needed IMHO and a crazy, convoluted plot involving futuristic tek, shadow governments/corporations and Journeys to the Center of the Earth it made me laugh more than once! At least the mom from the previous Godzilla, King of the Monsters film wasn't in this one. She is easily one of the most annoying characters in a film in a long time. I mean when she bought it, the audience in my theatre cheered!
Anyway, truly, truly riffable on many, many levels....
