  2. Where Time Began (1977)

A Spanish take on the Jules Vern story, Journey to the Center of the Earth featuring poisonous mushrooms, killer turtles and a man named Otis whose origin is simply none of our business!

  3. Wheels of Fire (1985)

A 1985 ripoff of Mad Max where the hero actually moons the bad guys at one point...seriously! So completely bizarre it could make a memorable riff like Space Mutiny!

  4. Frankenstein's Bloody Terror

This film tells the story of a old Count Named Waldemar Danisky who gets bitten by a werewolf, he seeks help by a scientist and his wife who both happen to be Vampires, This happens to be the first of a whole series of Spanish horror films featuring The Character , It also is Dubbed very poorly , The worst part is that the film has been retitled so much that they ended up calling "Frankenstein's Bloody Terror" Even though it has nothing to do with Frankenstein's Monster, instead the Antagonist is a scientist/werewolf by the name of "Wolfstein", if…

  5. Hard Time on Planet Earth

A rotten, limburger cheesy science fiction series that aired on CBS in 1989. The short-lived series starred Martin Kove (!) as "Jesse", an alien exiled to Earth with an orb-shaped robotic parole officer named Control.

  6. Vampires on Bikini Beach (1988)

Two teenagers find a book called "The Book of the Dead," and soon they discover that a vampire cult, which needs the book to raise the dead so they can take over the world, is after them.

This movie has it all! 80's cheese, vampires, surfing, IT nerds and yes, girls playing backgammon! All of the fun of an 80's era teen vampire drama. Utterly ignoring those pesky details like plot continuity, acting, cinematography, screenwriting, etc. I stumbled on to this movie by accident and thought it immediately riff-worthy.

  7. My Bloody Valentine (1981)

MBV is my wife's favorite Valentine's Day tradition. It's chocked full of the vapidly boneheaded of all ages. There's the old sheriff who seems to have almost no sensory apparatus of any kind; minor miners who treat a coal mine like an only slightly dirtier than usual frat house; and a bunch of people who insist upon doing pretty much exactly what you'd expect them to do. They're all Upper Peninsular types who only think with their lower peninsulas. And the guys are even worse.
It should only cost about $4.78 Canadian to rent the rights to this subterranean no-scare-fest.…

  8. 30000 Leagues Under the Sea (2007)

Lorenzo Lamas in a science fiction retelling with a production value slightly above Birdemic. The only thing more awkward than the acting is the scoring. It's ripe for riffing.

  9. sweet sea

Sweet Sea was produced by Tomy in 1985. It was a very short lived sea themed series which included one doll, four friends, fashion, cosmetic accessories by Avon, jewellery and a 30-min animated video. i must tell you however, it's anime-influenced cause tms entertainment made it, veteran osamu dezaki made it and vestron video's children's video library made it. it's fun to riff because all our favorite tv show characters from the late 90s and early-mid 2000s learned to do it too. you know which ones i'm talking bout willis. shows that currently rerun on mtv2 and fuse and fuse…

  10. dixie's diner

Dixie's Diner was produced by Tyco in 1988-89 and was a 1950's style diner. Along with the main Diner playset there were several additional items which were sold separately to add to the diner. There was also eleven poseable figures produced as well as a VHS cartoon. the story line says "Come on down to Dixie's Diner and enter a whimsical world of laughter and fun. A world where every kid can live out their wildest, most hilarious dreams. Where you can dance as long as you want, sing as loud as you want, and feed your face on an…

  11. P.J. sparkles

P.J. Sparkles is a 1992 animated television special produced by Mike Young Productions. The special was more-or-less an advertising vehicle for a Mattel doll. Jodi Benson, best known for voicing Ariel in Disney's The Little Mermaid franchise, voiced the title character. the only reason why you should riff it is because you can compare it to sly 2 band of thieves.

  12. Summer of fear

This 1978 made for Tv ' horror movie' is directed by Wes Craven and stars Linda Blair, here sporting a perm much scarier then anything in the exorcist.
She plays Rachel who's family take in her cousin Julia after her parents die in a car crash, and who then proceeds to charm the rest of the family and generally try to usurp Rachel at every turn.
A bout of hives,a couple of strange wax dolls with hair on ,a stolen boyfriend and a dead horse later Rachel begins to suspect there might be something a bit fishy about Julie.Who might…

  14. video game promo videos

back in the 90s and early 2000s, many new video games would get previewed with footage on a video tape most especially nintendo 64 since they refused to make a bunch of demo carts even if they did with pokemon stadium, mario party 3, the legend of zelda majora's mask, donkey kong 64 and jet force gemini. there's also playstation one promo videos made as well and of course sega. if you must riff sega vhs', dvds, laserdiscs and betamax's do the promo videos only. that means no anime or tv shows or movies based on the sega games. there's…

  15. Twin Dragon Encounter (1986)

Maple syrup-flavoured magnificence from Canada! Twin moustached martial artists do their damnedest to make Y.K.Kim look like a competent auteur.
Take a level measure of 'Deadly Prey' plot, add a touch of the deranged hubris of 'Geteven' and a strong whiff of 'Miami Connection' (especially with the rockin' action theme) and stir in two heroes who each have the electric charisma of 'Karate Cop'. Oh, and they drive identically-painted passion wagons with their day job prominently advertised on the sides.
Leaden, clichéd, preposterous, witless, but lots of kicky fighting too. Like a lot of movie-makers who have genuine martial arts…

  17. Wisdom

    from wikipedia:
John Wisdom is a young man just out of college. On the night of his high school graduation, he got drunk and stole a car. With a grand theft auto conviction he is branded a felon and as a result can not hold down a decent job. Seeing no future for himself, Wisdom takes a left turn: he decides to become a criminal "for the people", evocative of Robin Hood. After seeing news reports about impoverished farmers and working class people being sent to the bank to pay ownership debts, Wisdom goes on a bank robbing spree with…

  20. Any Hallmark Channel Christmas movie

My wife agrees that while she is watching her Hallmark Channel Christmas movies that I should be able to watch the same (unbearable) movie alongside her, but with some ear buds listening to the Rifftrax version of the movie. Sure, I could leave the room, but Rifftrax can keep my marriage (and all husbands of wives who enjoy Hallmark Channel Christmas movies) going strong!
