  1. Code Name Vengance

    code name vengance.

the boilerplate summary is: "Wife and daughter of the president of an African state were kidnapped by terrorists. American ambassador tries to liberate them and reactivates an agent who is in prison at that moment."
What you really need to know tho is:
    (1) Directed by David Winters (Space Mutiny, Star Wars Holiday Special)

There were numerous references on MST3K, so it'd be great to see the whole thing given the riff treatment!

  7. Help Wanted: Kids

One of Disney's made-for-tv movies from the '80s. I think the synopsis from a Disney Wiki sums it up best:

When the Burkes lose their jobs in New York, they have to move to Arizona, where Tom has an job-offer in the management of a small company for children's clothing.

Unfortunately Tom's new boss Sirus Lovelin turns out to be extremely fond of the traditional American family and automatically assumes Amanda to be housewife and mother - but the Burkes don't even have children! To not offend him, they "hire" two kids they met prowling the streets. When they turn…

  9. Len Anthony's Vampires

The movie features a vampire who has grown tired of living forever! What a concept! In an unintentional meta-joke, this movie also feels like it lasts forever. How can an 81 minute flick do this? Simple. Many, many awkward pauses. There's ample time to make jokes, professional jokes, by professional comedy professionals.

It stars Duane Jones, and features a wonderfully cheesey synthpop soundtrack that sounds like a halfway decent Tears For Fears cover band.

  10. Train Quest

One of the strangest movies I’ve ever seen, Train Quest (2001) is about a model train enthusiast deciding that sharing his passion is a good first date technique. Shockingly, this strategy goes poorly, and he and his date end up swapping places with a toy. The most surprising thing about this movie, however, is that some of the young cast went on to actually be successful actors, with one even being a future Superman...

  12. Empire of the Dark

Steve Barkett made a few lo budget films, several of which I am suggesting for you guys. This is perhaps one of his most ambitious. Written, directed and starring Barkett as the unlikely sexy hero.

IMDB: "A private detective searching for a killer comes across a satanic cult from another dimension, monsters called up from hell and murderous ninja assassins."

  13. Five Golden Dragons

    Five Golden Dragons

Hong Kong gangsters who are really old men in dragon masks who don't even know each other, and with Christopher Lee! An over-elaborate and useless method of identifying other members of the gang! It screams out for a good riff.

  14. Lenny the Wonder Dog

From 2005. To be honest I've never seen it. I'm only suggesting it because Oscar Isaac has a small role, and his IMDB credit for it is "Fartman". From a story by noted noisemaker Michael Winslow, it seems to be "A Talking Cat?!" level nonsense. Check out the wikipedia description

  16. Tarzan and the Trappers (1960)

Tarzan deals with the villainous Schroeder, who is illegally collecting animals for zoos, only to be menaced by Schroeder's hunter brother Sikes, out for revenge, who teams up with greedy trader Lapin in a hunt for human game...Tarzan himself. Re-edited from 3 episodes of a never-shown TV series, with studio action intercut with location and wildlife footage. Jane has little to do. Written by Rod Crawford puffinus@u.washington.edu

Hunky Gordon Scott would have done a better job in "Tarzan Goes to Wall Street" or "Tarzan Finds a Lost Kitten." This movie is Saturday matinee stuff, plenty of stock jungle footage used.…

  18. Til Death Do Us Part

2017 remake of Sleeping With The Enemy with a little bit of Enough thrown in for good measure. It starts off suspenseful, but then when the plan starts to come together it becomes clear how cockamamie it is, it's beyond hysterical. Then there is the blocking of the final scene, which is a true howler. It would make a great riff.

  20. Private Snafu or A Few Quick Facts (1942-1946)

Series of animated shorts used to educate WWII soldiers on many touchy, difficult subjects. PVT Snafu being voiced by the legendary Mel Blanc.

One has to be wary to not pick the shorts with obvious racist depictions of the Japanese army/navy/etc.... One episode was written by Dr. Seus.
