  3. Shoplifter (1975)

A short film made for the purpose of educating retail business owners and staff about shoplifting, shoplifters, and how to spot their myriad of techniques.

It depicts multiple women shoplifting items by holding them between their legs or stuffing them in their underwear.

The film also features a middle-aged man lurking in a grocery store air vent using binoculars with the supposed intent of theft prevention.

    What more can I say?

A fair copy is available on YouTube to browse.

  5. Doctor of Doom (1968)

Who can pass up a Mexican film with lady wrestlers, a guy who pretends he's a gorilla, dramatic shots of an electric arc and a plot line that needs a notepad to keep track? Seriously, riffworthy on many levels.

  6. Jason X

Jason X has all the “quality” writing of a slasher film superimposed against the early 2000s filmmaking dark ages. Jason goes to space for absolutely no reason and is awakened from cryostasis by the sound of premarital sex. There’s no real way to describe this movie other than “2001.” It’s absolutely awful and I love it.

  7. Hellboy (2019)

    Oh, boy. Where to begin?

    1. It's a poor attempt to 1-up Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy movies.
    2. It's an even worse attempt to rip off the source material by cramming pretty much all the worst parts of it into 2 hours.
    3. 18% positive on Rotten Tomatoes.
    4. 31 out of 100 on Metacritic.
    5. 5 Golden Raspberry nominations.

Come on. This thing is practically screaming for the Rifftrax treatment.

  15. The Spirit of Christmas (1953, short from Bell Telephone)

This half-hour short was produced by Bell Telephone for the Philadelphia area (near me, as it turns out--our local PBS affiliate WHYY usually runs it even today). Except for a bit of live-action, it is performed mostly by marionettes.

The first half of this half-hour short (after an intro by some Bell executives, and a short prologue showing Clement Clarke Moore getting the inspiration for his new poem) is a dramatization of "A Visit From St. Nicholas", or, as we know it, "Twas The Night Before Christmas." This does have its charming moments--the miniature sets are quite lovely and detailed--but…

  17. Arabesque

Mike and Bridget did a fabulous job riffing Charade. It's only logical to follow that up with Stanley Donen's own follow up. It's all about Gregory Peck and Sophia Loren running around after a mysterious parchment that everybody wants and things just kinda go from there. This one might need to be Just the Jokes but I'd watch it.

  18. Catalina Caper

    1. This and the Gamera riffs were my favorite riffs from the original MST3K and it would be great if I could see this re-riffed.

    2. It's got it all from a bumbling knock off Inspector Clouseau, to thieves, and Little Richard, the only true talent in the film.

    3. But lastly, it features the ever awesome Creepy Girl! She's a rifffer's delight.

  20. Deadly Species (2002)

Deadly Species is the perfect movie for riffing!

Think Arachnia mixed with Predator, but then lower your expectations a bit on the Predator part. Great (crappy) monster that you barely see for half the movie. It's a newer (2002) movie so imo that will help keep the audiences attention. It stars a bunch of nobodies. The bad guy is completly nerdy and unbelievable. There's tons of movie with no dialogue for the Riffers to fill and plenty of so-so acting. IT'S PERFECT
