Death Warmed Up (1984)
I watched this film on one of those giant compilations of horror movies and it was totally nonsensical! The plot sounds pretty basic, but there is just so much that just makes no sense. Also, they seem to set up a showdown between two characters that never materializes on screen. I think it is Australian and is sort of a zombie film, but not really... https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089002/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

Fatal Termination (1990)
This movie is notorious for what is possibly the most f***d-up stunt ever performed by a child actor, happening in the scene where the child actor is grabbed from the hair, and hoisted outside a moving vehicle while hanging a few feet off the ground through the hair in an intense 2-minute chase scene.
Also, Robin Shou dresses as a Cop from times of the Jim Crow South. Had to mention that to let you know he's the villain in the film.

In the Line of Duty 3 (Force of the Dragon in the UK)
The third film in the "In the Line of Duty" Hong Kong film series. The first film in the series where Michelle Yeoh is absent from the role and replaced by Cynthia Khan for the rest of the series. It stars Cynthia Khan, Hiroshi Fujioka, Michiko Nishiwaki, Dick Wei, and Robin Shou.
Fun fact: Hiroshi Fujioka is known in Japan for his roles as Kamen Rider and Segata Sanshiro. Also, this is the only film... where Segata Sanshiro meets Liu Kang briefly on screen. Also, Robin Shou was Fujioka stunt double in certain scenes. It's why Robin went uncredited in…

Sylvester 1985
A film that shows what it made in the Box Office, but information on the Budget is missing. It's pretty much shrouded in mystery.
Plenty of Riff material here:
1) The film was released as Melissa Gilbert's attempt to get onto the Silver Screen just two years after Little House on the Prairie concluded
2) There's no information on how much it cost to make the film. So either the film was a Box Office Bomb (Evident with Melissa appearing in Lifetime Movies later in her Career) or the film was a Zero Budget film (Somehow?)
3) The film is…14 votes -
City War 1988
A 1988 Hong Kong film Starring Chow Yun Fat and Shaw Brother film legend Ti Lung.
Two cops--both partners and best friends--find their friendship and their lives at stake when they try to take down a ruthless drug dealer.
Reasons to Riff:
1) There's a song that suspiciously sounds similar to You Can Leave Your Hat On by Randy Newman
2) A Man gets shot in the dick (Damn! Why?!)
3) Robin Shou assassinates a family. Cool.22 votes -
Tiger Cage 1988
A Yuen-Woo Ping film about Cops vs. Druglords. Not the prequel to Tiger Cage 2 as both films, even Tiger Cage 3, were incorrectly labelled to be sent to rental stores.
The three films' names from Cantonese are: SWAT: Special Dragon Force (Tiger Cage), Money Laundering (Tiger Cage 2), and Coldblooded Shooter (Tiger Cage 3).
Despite this, they're enjoyable B-Movie Hong Kong films.
Tiger Cage has the following: Druglords fighting cops, it's always sunny at funerals, and Donnie Yen.

Tiger Cage 2
Please do a Riff of this Yuen Woo-ping film. It has the following:
Wu Shu fight scenes, Money Laundering, swordfighting, American druglords drinking Scotch without ice (The Horror!), Robin Shou looking like a Bond Villain, and Donnie Frickin' Yen!
Here's a link with information about the film and images that go with it:

Death Cage 1988 (Bloodfight 2 in the UK)
There's a low budget film I watched recently in Cantonese and English. It's called Death Cage. Death Cage is a 1988 Hong Kong Martial Arts film starring Joe Lewis and Robin Shou. It goes by Bloodfight 2 in the UK, but the characters and plot have nothing to do with the first Bloodfight. Also, that version of the film is badly dubbed.
The plot of the film has plenty of Riff material, such as the cliché Rival gym trope, soundtrack dissonance, over-the-top fight scenes, death scenes that are almost on parr with Night of the Lepus death scenes, training montages,…

Beyond the Reef 1981
A charming movie played frequently on HBO in the early 80s. Hawaiian boy has a pet shark that is reincarnate of his grandfather. It is dubbed and scenes are short with lots of opportunity to riff and movie is very watchable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8saISz5fRK0

Where's Officer Tuba?
One of Sammo Hung's early roles released two years after Wheels on Meals. This film came out during the days of D &B Films, the same film company responsible for films like Yes Madam! (Super Cops or Police Assassins 2). It also marks the film debut of one Jacky Cheung.
Jacky Cheung might not be familiar in the United States, but he's a big deal in Hong Kong. Dubbed God of Songs by Hong Kong media, he is regarded as the best singer of Hong's male Idols known as the Four Heavenly Kings (The other three being Leon Lai, Andy…
