  2. Trapped in Paradise (1994)

Nick Cage, Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey play three brothers who plan to rob a small town bank in Pennsylvania on Christmas Eve. Directed (or rather, not directed) by George Gallo, this movie has a little bit of everything, except maybe cohesiveness. Throw in Cage being Cage and Dana Carvey being whoever it is he's trying to be and you're in for an awful(ly fun - no, not really) time.

  8. It Came Upon a Midnight Clear (1984)

A 1984 heartwarming made-for-TV holiday movie starring Mickey Rooney, Scott Grimes, and Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz of "Ghostbusters" fame).

This might be a good one for Mary Jo and Bridget, since they did the also heartwarming "Beyond Christmas."

It is currently available to watch on YouTube:

  10. Nearly No Christmas (1983)

Santa Claus is forced to lave the North Pole and get a job to raise funds for repairing his Toy Factory.

A made-for-TV movie (from New Zealand?), this appears to have a similar vibe as "Monster's Christmas", "I Believe in Santa Claus," and "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians."

  12. Auntie Lee's meat pies

Outside the small, one-cop town of Penance, California, Auntie Lee bakes her popular meat pies with help from her four nubile nieces and the ranch's blood-simple handyman Larry. The source of the meat for the pies? Men who are passing through, lured to strange deaths by the nieces--Fawn, Coral, Sky, and Magnolia--who smile, show a little skin, and pretend to be playmates. Closing in on the trail of a missing man is New York private eye Harold Ivars; the town cop, Chief Koal, also finds Larry's behavior a bit suspicious. Will the cop and the dick bring Auntie Lee's vocation…

Starring Alan Tam as Sam Law and Andy Lau as Crab Chan.

    Reasons to Riff:
    - The main characters are kind of jerks
    - Rosamund Kwan with a gun. LOL.

  16. Skybound 2017

A bunch of dummies get stuck in a plane and can’t land during a disaster. Horrible acting, a diabetic villain, a love triangle involving brothers, a dull leading lady, and a low fuel supply. Awful in a great way!

  17. Omen III

I don’t know how Sam Neill was able to spew that hilariously godawful (pun fully intended) dialogue, but the least you could do is riff him for his efforts.

  19. It Happened One Christmas (1977)

1977 made-for-TV-movie gender-flipped version of It's a Wonderful Life, starring Marlo Thomas, Orson Welles, Wayne Rogers, and Cloris Leachman!

We know you guys couldn't do a VOD of the whole It's a Wonderful Life, so maybe this would be a decent substitute?

  20. Pinocchio's Birthday Party (1973)

80-odd minutes of nightmare fueled, live action/puppet/stop motion weirdness. Very similar to "Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny" in that a lot of its runtime is given to unrelated stories (Puss-in-Boots, Little Drummer Boy). Very unsettling mood.
