  1. Bullet to the Head

Bullet to the Head is a 2013 action film directed by Walter Hill, starring Sylvester Stallone as hitman Jimmy Bobo, Jason Momoa as rival assassin Keegan and Sung Kang as Detective Taylor Kwon.

Not to be confused with John Woo's Bullet in the Head.

  3. Get Christie Love!

This stereotypical blaxplpitation wad of cheese is chock full of sexy undercover persuasion, poorly lit night time film sequences, unlikely scenarios with even more unlikely outcomes, and criminals my grandma could easily drop on a bad arthritis day. The poorly executed kung fu moves seem to riff themselves. Inappropriate sarcasm and overly accentuated lines only add to the cheese factor.

  4. Once Upon A Time In China

Jet Li's star making role as Wong Fei-hung. Once Upon a Time in China is a 1991 Wuxia martial arts film directed by Tsui Hark, a long time collaborator with John Woo.

No, it's not a spin-off of Once Upon a Time. Just look at the year of release. Also has nothing to do with the one in the American West, the one during the Mexican Revolution (when it's called by that name), the one in America, the other one in Mexico, or the one in Hollywood.

    Remember this riffable quote:

No matter how good our kung-fu is, it will…

  5. Bullet in the Head

Not to be mistaken for Stallone's Bullet to the Head (Different film), this film is from the same film maker that brought the world A Better Tomorrow starring Chow Yun-Fat. Bullet in the Head is a 1990 Heroic Bloodshed film by John Woo. The film stars Waise Lee, Tony Leung Chiu-wai and Jacky Cheung.

Three poor hoodlums living in 1967 Hong Kong finds themselves in a world of hell from beginning to end. Ben (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) wants to get married and find a better life for himself, something that's quickly kiboshed when he and Frankie (Jacky Cheung) accidentally kill…

  6. The Swordsman (1990)

Fantastic story and the wire fu is done very well. Very colorful cast of characters here and you have all sorts of deceit and trickery afoot. Also, some very inventive techniques that deal all sorts of interesting deaths. Sam Hui plays the main character in the first film, but Jet Li replaces him by the time sequel comes out.

  7. Maximum Impact

One of the four film collaborations between Matthias Hues and Mark Dacascos. Looks like another RedBox Rental Action film. Like Showdown in Manila, beware of lack of plot and action.

  8. Subterfuge

A film that might as well be an 80 minute Baywatch episode with cheesy music. Weird editing involved with Speedboats. The best scene in the film is a grenade getting dropped into a boat, driving the instructor and three women to jump out for their lives. This happens close to the beginning of the film.

Two emotions will be felt from this film, but each person will feel one: It'll be So bad, it's good or... So bad, avoid like the Plague.

  9. Showdown In Manila (2016)

No, this is not a sequel to Showdown in Little Tokyo. One of the four film collaborations between Matthias Hues and Mark Dacascos. Looks like another RedBox Rental Action film. Though this film is unique because it takes place in the Philippines.

The stars Alexander Nevsky, Casper Van Dien, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Tia Carrere, Mark Dacascos, Matthias Hues, Hafedh Dakhlaoui, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Cynthia Rothrock, and Olivier Gruner. Described to be So Bad, It's Good.

  10. The Vindicator (AKA Frankenstein 1988)

A modern take of the Frankenstein films, set in the futuristic time of... 1988. Title looks like it's trying to rip off the Terminator. A majority of the film has the Vindicator attacking random people.

This has a lot of Riff material. If you saw this film, comment down below.

  11. Not a movie, but I'd really love an Apple TV Friends app!

I'd like to be a RiffTrax Friend again, but my dumb animal brain only remembers to look at the shiny buttons on my screen. Is there a chance you could add an Apple TV app?

  13. Don't Be A Victim, BE ALERT!

A safety advice video from 1994. The material is dated and some information can't be used in today's environment due to the advancement of technology. However, there are some parts that are Riff ready thanks in part to some cheesy acting and how its presented and narrated.

    Example:

There's a scene where a woman is watching through a window while a guy tries to get through the backgate. He looks like he's trying to use hedge trimmers to break the gate, but the acting shows that the gate isn't locked to begin with and he's just shaking the door.

    Another…

  14. Leif Jonker's Darkness

It's a really low budget horror movie I unearthed at a Blockbuster one day. I remember it being quite bad in an entertaining way.

  15. By the Sword

Early 90s film with Eric Roberts and F. Murray Abraham about fencing. Never seen it, but this trailer looks like it be a great choice:

  16. Halloween Extended TV Cut (Live?)

Much as we all love the riff with Mike and Kevin, it would be great to revisit it and get Bill (and maybe a few more?) In for it.
Also this cut is only on the 4k edition (Disc 3) and has more scenes, AND the worst of the nudity and language is cut leading to a (slightly) more family friendly version which would be GREAT for a LIVE event. What's more it was put on DVD via SHOUT (Scream) Factory which RT already has a relationship with!! This would be a GREAT night!!

  17. Sentimental Journey

Sentimental Journey is a depressing short starring James Stewart as Joe, the old WWII pilot who decides to take a casual night stroll on the tarmac to discover his beloved DC-3 plane filled with cargo, as it's now considered obsolete for carrying passengers. When he boards the plane as it's left unattended, his mind wanders to audible flashbacks of "fonder" days. The man who is responsible for the plane hands him a stick of gum, just what anyone would possibly need to cure the existential blues. It's completely unremarkable, but filled with rather colorful voices during Joe's flashback, this short…
