3. Freaks

Freaks is a 1932 American horror film in which the eponymous characters were played by people who worked as carnival sideshow performers and had real deformities. The original version was considered too shocking to be released, and no longer exists.

Directed and produced by Tod Browning, whose career never recovered from it, Freaks has been described as standing alone in a sub-genre of one

At 16, Browning had left his well-to-do family to join a traveling circus; he drew on his personal experiences for Freaks. Because of his success as the director of Dracula, he was given a considerable leeway…

4. The Lion in Winter

You guys have referred to this movie in the past.
It has some of the best actors; Hopkins, Hephrin, no drip Dalton and some Tool....
It's a classic that deserves to be known by its merit and appropriately riffed. By exposing more film lovers to this movie, you're doing a service to mankind. Showing us what drama can be met out on the screen and what can be done minus the age of CGI. We the people demand smart, intelligent, gripping historical-ish pieces...and then to promptly tear them down with vicious skewering.

5. Twilight Zone Xmas episode "Night of the Meek"

This 25-minute production stars Art Carney as a boozy department store Santa who supernaturally learns some semblance of the meaning of Christmas. In addition to being a holiday special with Art Carney- something not unknown to Rifftrax- there is a peppy female elf who induces flashbacks to Mr. B Natural. 7. Battletruck aka. Warlords of the 21st Century (1982)

AKA New Zealand's answer to Megaweapon, starring that guy from The Warriors and featuring that other guy from The Quiet Earth. Set in 1994 after the Oil Wars (which we all remember) this is a star-crossed love story between a heavily armored semi truck and the motorcycle that loves him. Or it's a bunch of idiots trying to rip off Mad Max with a terrible 80's soundtrack and a villain named Stryker (yes, I know that's a stretch) who doesn't quite manage to pull off the same nuanced level of performance we've come to expect from Jack Palance, but does…

9. Bride of Frankenstein

Get back to MST3K roots ( sort of )
Wouldn't hurt to see the back of your heads while riffing.
Would also enjoy breaks in the movie to watch invention exchanges.
(Wait a minute - that was MST3K, sigh )

How about riffing a Classic? Wouldn't that be awesome? I think it would! Riffing the American version of course.

A 400-foot dinosaur-like beast, awoken from undersea hibernation off the Japanese coast by atomic-bomb testing, attacks Tokyo.

14. The Beast Must Die (1974)

Presented for your consideration, The Beast Must Die, the only movie in cinematic history to come with its very own "Werewolf Break." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klfE_nescX0

Essentially, this film is an attempt to merge a werewolf movie with an Agatha Christie whodunnit, The Most Dangerous Game, and Shaft. If that sounds like a train-wreck waiting to happen... you'd be right. The so-called "plot" involves a wealthy big game hunter who really likes running around in leather without a shirt, deciding he wants to kill a werewolf, so he does the obvious thing, and invites six people he suspects might be werewolves to his…

15. Sideways

Annoying buddy road-trip comedy from 2004, trailer at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YS9ocP6FNvM Bitterly divorced wannabe novelist, wannabe wine snob, currently stuck teaching junior-high English. He's supposed to be a sympathetic character, but I found him the least likeable character in the whole damn' movie.

How unlikeable? In the final scene, as he rushes to his love interest's house, I broke my rule against mouthing off in the theater, bolting upright in my seat and blurting out "DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR!"

16. Wasp Woman

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfruCEhxT3Y Classic Corman stinker from 1959. Ex-glamor girl wno cosmetic corporation exec approaching 40 pins hopes for rejuvenation on old scientist claiming to have created rejuvenation formula from wasp royal jelly.

Cinematic Titanic riffed this one a few years ago -- I saw them do it live on their farewell tour in '13 -- and they did a real bang-up job on it; still, I'd love to see what you guys can do with it.

Roger Corman flicks: the gift that keeps on giving.

20. Focus

This movie is trying very very hard to be cool, however it fails miserably with its story about two, supposedly, loveable con artists who fall for each other... or do they? (Yes they do!) Perfect rifftrax fodder.
