  1. Romeo Must Die

There are Riffs abound here in this Very loose adaptation of Shakespeare's work.
Sadly the genuine chemistry between Aaliyah and Jet-Li only seems to make things more bizarre. While Aaliyah's brother seems to be played by a real-life version of Taye Diggs' character from 'Malibus Most Wanted' wanting us to know early on in the finest Julliard fashion how GANGSTER he is. His comically ridiculous death while smoking the fakest looking marijuana imaginable seems appropriate. What isn't is his grieving father seeing the body while backed by 70's funk porno music.
The entire score feels like a wild blend of…

  2. Skookum: The Hunt for Bigfoot

Skookum: The Hunt for Bigfoot is a movie about... well hunting Bigfoot in the swampy landscape that is Louisiana's Bayou. A girl goes missing and it's up to her sister to find her with help of a bunch of so called Bigfoot scientists and one indian.

One of the guys playing the Skookum Bigfoot shops at the store I work at told me about this movie being made in a town near us. As soon as I saw the trailer for it I thought "OMG that needs riffing so hard by Mike, Bill and Kevin!" It was made throughout 2012-2016…

  4. drainiac

Drainiac is a movie about an evil spirit in the plumbing. My friend and I watched it 8 years ago and laughed for most of it. At one point the evil has entered a van and steam shoots out of the radiator spraying a man in the face instantly turning his head into a skull, that is still screaming (see picture below) There is a claymation worm thing, a women getting pulled down her bathtub drain, actors who can't keep a straight face and a seance where 5 people lay on the floor in a circle. Near the end of…

Scott Bakula stars in this failed Disney series pilot as the first rendition of Disney's Wolverine... minus the fighting skills, the sharp claws, the gruffiness and charisma, etc....

We love Sailor Moon, but we also love to make references to her. Let's give one of anime's greatest heroine's a proper riff of her own!

  9. How to Make a Monster (1958)

Accomplished but eccentric movie make-up artist Pete Dumond has been with the studio for decades and is totally devoted to his art especially in the creation of screen monsters. His world ends abruptly when new management acquires the company and arbitrarily decides that the horror cycle has run its course, and the studio will now concentrate on escapist musicals. When Dumond hears he will be pink-slipped, the neurotic but usually affable Pete turns psychotic and vows vengeance on the two movie executives responsible. Using a combination of hypnosis and a newly developed chemical formula, Dumond is able to use mind…

  12. The Beasts Are on the Streets (1978)

A truck crashes into the fence of a wildlife preservation place and all the animals are "on the streets." I'm surprised this hasn't already been riffed! It's sheer riffing gold!

  13. Criss Cross (2001)

This is a "movie" made from stitching together a two-part episode of late-night TV "Tropical Heat". Think low-budget Magnum PI who can't button his shirt set in Florida Keys, but since shot in Israel--mountains everywhere.

  14. Maxim Xul (1991)

Despite Adam West playing a professor, based on the production quality, it literally looks like he walked right off the set of ZOMBIE NIGHTMARE!

Filled with failed attempt at scares, a plot twist you didn't know (because there wasn't enough clues nor care in the world to lead you there), bizarre demon like special effects and a cool moody score that always plays at the wrong time and place when you actually need it a few scenes prior.

  15. Fast Forward (1985)

A group of teens from Ohio secretly travel to New York in order to enter a competition as promised by the head of the company, but to their surprise they discover that the old man who made that promise is dead, and the new guy in charge is not having it, so these broke kids remodel an abandoned looking apartment, and they dance and badly lip sync and con their way through rich parties, streets, and clubs all the way to success. This cheesy attempt to make money off the success of movies like Footloose is sure to have a…

  16. Jurassic School

My son was watching this one on Netflix, and I was alternately cringing and shaking my head through the whole thing. I had to search and see where it was made, because it looks like a student film that went UNDER budget. Guess what? It's from Asylum. It involves fake science, a dinosaur puppet of near Rollergator atrociousness and an evil principal who hunts down grade-school children for their science knowledge (?). This is deep, deep hurting, my friends.

  19. Stephen King's IT

With a new adaptation for this popular Stephen King novel about a killer clown murdering children and adults or scaring them with their inner fears, this popular miniseries is ripe for a Rifftrax.

While Tim Curry can put on a scary performance theres a lot here that can be made fun of such as his scene in the library where he imitates a honking that should ether be the sound of a prank truck horn or a duck with a form of throat infection, making a threat to a group of kids through a photo album when the kids can…
