2. Made for TV Alice in Wnonderland (c1985/86)

   Was my ABSOLUTE favorite as a child. An all star cast, Ringo Starr as a tortoise, Shelly Winters as some kind of bird, Sammy Davis jr.a skittish mouse and so many more celebs proving the enormous drug epidemic that fueled the 80's, costumes that are so awful you'd opt to wear a Buffalo Bill original. 100year old knights with a VERY inappropriate romance vibe that VERY appropriately mirrors the spirit of Lewis Carrol when he wrote the story while crushing on the real life child of a friend that Alice is based upon. Carol Channing going full Carol Channing- yes unmedicated. Tons of "Don't take the blue acid" victims actual accounts of people indiscriminately morphing into random animals. Bad musical numbers and worse dance moves..Jonathan Winters as Humpty Dumpty. Riff Gold.

3. Croaked: Frog Monster from Hell AKA Rana: The Legend of Shadow Lake

   Just heard of this and it sounded perfect. A 1981 film by Bill Rebane.
   It's about people being terrorized by a man frog!

4. Kraa! The Sea Monster (1998)

   A film produced by Full Moon Entertainment and Monster Island Entertainment in '98 this a low budget monster suit movie in all its glory.

   The premise for this movie is that a galactic dark lord plans to take over the galaxy by somehow taking over the Earth. To that effect this dark lord send Kraa! to Earth. In order to stop this an alien agent is sent to Earth to help human scientists build a weapon that can stop Kraa! but instead of landing in Italy the agent ends up crashing in New Jersey.

   An absolute centerpiece of the Sword and Sandal genre. H.R. Geiger designed the Medusa prop... which Kevin identified as Whoopi Goldberg in the intro to Land of Darkness. Let's just hear that song again!

7. Virtual Combat (1995) (AKA Grid Runners)

   Don 'The Dragon' Wilson stars as David Quarry, a gridrunner (some kind of cop or security agent). In a world with virtual reality everywhere, a Doctor develops a way to "clone" a VR character into a real body. He first shows this discovery to his evil boss, using a star of "adult" VR programs. The boss has him do it again with another adult program character, then sets off to try and smuggle them from Vegas to Los Angeles. The boss of level 10 of Quarry's favorite martial arts training program "Lethal Combat", Dante (Michael Bernardo, but voiced by Michael Dorn), who Quarry has not yet managed to defeat, manages to get himself "cloned" and begins a mission to try and free other fighters of the game. Dante kills Quarry's partner John (Ken McLeod), and Quarry sets out to avenge John's death (though he doesn't know who killed him). Will Quarry manage to stop Dante?

   People in this future world also have digital assistants, who inhabit large "handheld" devices. And there is a "bullet train" to LA, which looks suspiciously like an ordinary subway train. Hardly any time is spent in VR, though users must wear headsets and body suits and strap into one of those multi-axis trainers that were all the rage in the 90s.

12. Space Monster Wangmagwi

    I THINK this movie is Korean, and it gives "Manos" serious competition for worst movie ever made.
    Aliens attack Earth by sending a guy in a terrible monster suit down to Earth, this monster, radio controlled by the aliens who dropped it on Earth, where "air pressure" causes it to "inflate" to Godzilla-like proportions, begins its lazy "attack" on the city.
    The monster wanders around stepping on pretty cheesy miniature buildings in Seoul, but the truly mind numbing part is the movie isn't very concerned with the attack. The Air Force is called in but do nothing- not one shot at the monster.
    The movie is more focused on a spoiled, self-centered bride-to-be, who is more concerned with having her wedding postponed than the thousands of people of Seoul killed. Her intended is the hero of the movie, I think, but he is just as put out by their wedding plans being affected by the attack as she is. She finally decides to flee the city, in her wedding dress, with her mother (after the priest has run away) where she faints in the monster's path and the monster picks her up and basically just carries her around while occasionally ogling her completely non-existent cleavage.
    If that wasn't bad enough, a preteen delinquent manages to climb up the 200 foot tall monster, crawl into its ear, cuts through one eardrum and then almost falls out the monster's nose (he saves himself by clinging onto one of the monster's nose hairs, I swear).
    Another subplot involves two morons who make a bet over which one will be more brave in the face of the monster; one bets his life savings, the other bets his house and wife. They then spend a mind-numbingly long time clutching each other in the street and trying to hide their abject cowardice, before finally retreating to the second man's house where his wife is cowering under a blanket on the floor. The first man explains to her that she is now HIS wife, which she resists until the monster starts breaking up the house, when she starts calling him, "new husband" and begs him to save her. As he runs out of the house, she turns to the OTHER man, calling him "old husband" and... well, you just have to see it to believe it, this movie is head shakingly bad, the acting is atrocious, it's B&W, subtitled and the "humor" will make you long for the subtle comedic charms of "Roller Gator".

14. The Fog (2005)

    We just watched this turkey and kept saying, "This is SO ripe for some RiffTrax riffs!" We were doing our own riffing but could not come close to what you all could do. As an example, the scene at the end when our heroine kisses the ghost leper killer guy. She then turns into his former lover and even seems to enjoy his ghost leper killer kiss. (shiver)
