The film explores the consequences and challenges that arise from Xavier's newfound abilities. While Don Rickles is known for his work as a comedian, he does not appear in "X: The Man with the X-ray Eyes." The film's cast includes actors such as Ray Milland, Diana Van der Vlis, Harold J. Stone, John Hoyt, and others.

I first heard of this through Stephen King's non-fiction book Danse McBare...sorry...Danse Macabre, which was Uncle Stevie's run-down of various horror movies and books and what made them work. He perpetuated the urban legend that the original last line of the film, after Milland's character ripped his eyes out, was "I CAN STILL SEE!!!", but Roger Corman himself has debunked that. However, Corman also said that it wasn't a half-bad idea at that, and that he wishes he'd thought of it!

Sounds weird and disjointed like "Monster-A-Go-Go." If so, I'm all for riffing it!

I remember seeing this movie when I was about 9. I had NO idea what the hell the movie was about then. I STILL don't. If I'm thinking of the right movie, it goes COMPLETELY bonkers at some point and ends at the point the producers got tired of scraping footage off the cutting room floor and gluing it together in random order. LOL! MIGHT be worth doing.
