  2. Alpha Gateway

An Australian film with parallel worlds but instead of sliders we have microwave oven type devices as the portals. Kinda crazy, kinda kooky, and nobody seems to be able to land on exactly the correct world. Beautiful vistas in Australia, though.

  3. The Meg

A shark movie that's like someone took Jaws, Jurassic Park, Godzilla (1998), and Die Hard, threw them into a blender and let the results sit in the sun for a week.

  4. Tokyo Gore Police

One of the most depraved films any human being has ever seen. This is where over-the-top meets the stratosphere. This is the sum total of what happens when you drop the atomic bomb on a culture. Around the time this movie was made, kids in Japan had a fad where they'd inject saline into their faces so they'd look like they had a bagel protruding from their head. I could be wrong, but my theory is that director Yoshihiro Nishimura wanted to either comment on the ever-escalating obsession with self-modification, or just completely out-shock everyone. Probably the latter. Actress Eihi…

  5. Uzumaki, aka "Spiral"

This is a very bizarre and terrible Japanese film about a high school girl who is obsessed with and haunted by whirlpools. It pleasantly shows that Japanese filmmakers can also unintentionally make truly awful movies. I think American critics can often let badness slide if it's a foreign film, because they want to be PC, which just shows that they don't get it. We need to praise terrible films wherever they appear! Because their entertainment value is simply on another level! (except "The Room," which can cause pain.)

  6. The guyver

Mark hamill with a moustache (70s dad stache) Jimmy "dynomite!" Walker. Ppl turning into aliens, cheesiness extreme. Classic insults such as ********. Not matter what I say would do this movie justice. It is a must see and a must-riff!

  7. Lionman

Please riff Lionman (as known in English speaking countries) or Kiliç Aslan I have also seen it called. It is a 1975 action movie directed by Natuk Baytan.

Just to show you how bad it is; here is quote from the film --> "What did I tell you? He was raised on Lions milk!".

Synopsis is: When the king is murdered, his baby son and heir is hidden in the forest where he is abducted and raised by a pride of lions. As an adult he uses his beastly strength and claw-like hands to take revenge against the new king…

  8. Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

The theatrically released pilot for the two season NBC series, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. It's classically cheesy, from the time when everyone wanted to copy Star Wars' success.

  9. A Christmas Carol (Shower of Stars, 1954)/The Stingiest Man In Town (Alcoa Hour, 1956)/The Stingiest Man In Town (Rankin-Bass, 1978)

You've riffed that 1959 Coronet Films Christmas Carol Short that starred Basil Rathbone and was introduced/narrated by Fredric March. This is quite interesting, because both March and Rathbone were involved in other versions of A Christmas Carol, the second of which was remade for animation. All three of them have their merits, but have just enough retro-cheesiness to make for good riffs.

In 1954, the anthology program Shower of Stars (sponsored by Chrysler) presented an hour-long musical version of A Christmas Carol starring Fredric March as Scrooge and Basil Rathbone as Marley. Being who they were, the lead actors turned…

  10. Cathy’s Curse

This is a terrible 1970s horror where a little girl is possessed by a doll which is channeling the spirit of her dead, and very angry, aunt. It’s a terrible ripoff of the exorcist with other random horror movies thrown in. You can see it on Shudder if you subscribe. Some of my favorite lines spoken by an 9 year old girl include: “Old . Fat . Fat dried up ,” “go on you filthy female cow, make us laugh,” and “all women are **.” The movie is absolutely insane and just dying to be riffed.

  11. The Oscar (1966)

Oh! Please do "The Oscar: - it's FINALLY coming out on disc in February. Worst Performance by a leading man (Stephen Boyd)! Worst - and only - Performance by a crooner way in over his talent (Tony Bennett)! Most embarrassing credit in an interesting career (Harlan Ellison)! And Milton Berle as Kappy Kapstetter (Milton Berle)! This is a Rifftrax must.

  12. To The Shores of ****

From the director of "The Starfighters" and the Riff Trax trucker movie "Trucker's Woman". It's hard to find. Would love to see it.

  13. Terror in the Midnight Sun (1959)

Mom loves this film and she'd love to see it riffed!
    From IMDB -
"Aliens release a furry critter in the wilds of Lapland where it takes a woman captive and threatens a group of scientists."

  15. Horror Express-1972

This deserves a live Riff (I know there is a riff here already). This screams for a Halloween Showing. Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, and Telly Savalas as a Cossack?!? Comic Gold!

  16. Any Hallmark Channel Christmas movie

My wife agrees that while she is watching her Hallmark Channel Christmas movies that I should be able to watch the same (unbearable) movie alongside her, but with some ear buds listening to the Rifftrax version of the movie. Sure, I could leave the room, but Rifftrax can keep my marriage (and all husbands of wives who enjoy Hallmark Channel Christmas movies) going strong!

  17. The machine girl

In The Machine Girl (2008), a low budget Japanese action flick, high schooler Ami loses both her brother and her arm to evil Yakuza bullies. Worse yet, they are not just Yakuza--they're Yakuza ninjas! Replacing her missing limb with a machine gun, she sets off for bloody revenge, but must match skills with all sorts of deadly assassins and outlandish weapons, including a drill bra. Yes, that's right, a drill bra. It's like a weaponized Madonna.

  18. Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (1973)

Very creepy made-for-tv horror flick about a woman being terrorized by evil little gnome-like creatures which dwell in a house she and her husband just inherited, starring Kim Darby and Jim Hutton. Again it's a classic as far as I'm concerned and has a great cast, but there's PLENTY for the Rifftrax boys to poke fun at!

The three reasons for Rifftrax to tackle it:
1 - The creatures, there's LOTS of opportunities to poke fun at their appearance and make up dialog for them.
2 - The elderly handyman who knows far more than he admits to, riff-worthy for…

  19. scanner cop 2

Scanner Cop 2 - also known as Scanners: the showdown - continues

the adventures of everyone's favorite scanner cop, Sam Staziak

(didn't see the first one? No biggie. The film makers don't bother

    acknowledging it).

Promoted to detective after kicking so much *** in the 1st movie,

he must now go up against the brother of a man killed by Sam's

head- whipping superpowers, another scanner who escapes prison

while growling like the Tasmanian Devil. He then learns a way to

super-charge his mind by killing other scanners. The bodies

begin to mount as our villain siphons energy from his…

  20. Rifftrax Live Spooky Scary Halloween Extravaganza

The time is waaay overdue for a spooky scary funny "Rifftrax Live Halloween Extravaganza." This would be a mixed bag of Halloween themed shorts, cartoons, weird short films, vintage spook show trailers, and maybe some really terrible monster/science fiction trailers, all done in the format of an olden days type 'spook show.' These spook shows used to include the audience as part of the fun. Monsters running down the aisles, cheesy fake ghosts floating over the audience, etc. With time permitting you could even include a short really horrible old creaky horror movie that is down on it's little knees…
