  2. Dr. Otto & the Riddle Of The Gloom Beam

Jim Varney's first "Ernest" film is something straight out of a fever dream. Nothing makes sense and you're wondering the whole time why no responsible adults intervened to stop it from happening. Sheer insanity.

  5. Andron

Andron (2015) is a Rifftrax-ready film! Indie scifi. Concept is an attempt at The Hunger Games + Maze Runner. Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover. Absolutely disjointed script/plot. Green Screen shots that look like stock photos for a desktop background. Sometimes they forgot to put the camera man in the same room. Characters spend a lot of time tickling the air. Husband and I basically riffed at home on a date night, but I know you guys can do better. Please PLEASE do this one.

  6. Forest of Death

Recent super low budget horror a la Jurassic Shark or Lycan Colony. Slightly better than those as far as execution, but not by much. Wooden amateur actors, numerous odd montages, and idiotic characters.

  7. DNA

Mark Decascos and some guy with a really thick accent traipse into the jungle where Dr. Baad Accenti steals the secret bug ingredient needed for Dr. Marks DNA formula. You know, the one he was laughed to shame for...Anywho, Dr. Accenti believes he's rehydrating an ancient apex predator, but oopsie, too late he realizes he has a reconstituted alien ala Predator (pre-reconstructive surgery). So, Dr. Mark goes commando (sorry, wrong flick) to destroy the monster. The background music didn't get the memo and spends a lot of time asserting itself to the front, and some Jurassic Park vibes just in…

    Terminus (1987) 1. 12. Crying Freeman (1995)

A live action film in 1995 based on the Seinen Manga by the same name. Crying Freeman was directed by Christophe Gans, famous for the film Brotherhood of the Wolf. The film stars Mark Dacascos as the titular character.

    Riff material includes:

    • Weepy-eyed Mark (Oh hi Mark)
    • Emu (Yes that's the love interest's name) popping a Champagne bottle onto the painting she made of Yoh (Mark). It looks... sexual...
    • Yoh clearly naked when he approaches Emu's bed, but after the love scene he suddenly has a white jockstrap on.
    • This Tagline: Once in a lifetime comes the perfect killer.
    • Exploding…

  14. The People Under the Stairs (1991)

Two adults and a 13 year old called Fool (Based from a Tarot card) break into a racist Landlord's house to discover a horrific secret. Riff material includes:

    • Wes Craven film
    • Mommy and Daddy are played by Wendy Robie and Everett McGill, who played married couple Ed and Nadine Hurley on Twin Peaks.
    • Ving Rhames has to deal with a man who owns a gimp suit. Twice.
    • The Hero in the film is called Fool. Sounds like a Blaxploitation name straight from the 1970s films.

  15. Billy Jack or The Trial of Billy Jack.

An icon of a film for the late Boomer generation it blew our (13-14 yo) minds. Does not hold up so well pretty much anytime after 1979.
My brother was attending the U of A. When it was being filmed and was an extra. He said that contrary to popular beliefs, Tom Laughlin did not do his own stunts nor as far as he could tell did not practice martial arts. He said when it came time for the hero to deliver his brand of justice, the director would call cut and a Korean guy about the same stature of…

  16. Evil Spirits (1991)

Karen Black runs an odd boarding house where the tenants, equally odd, sign over their government checks to her and then start disappearing. There are amusing scenes of Karen and a yellow headed Amazon parrot, a talking wheelchair and some nearly giallo class killings.

Arte Johnson is also in it as is Berryman as in The Hills Have Eyes, Berryman.

There's excessive scenery chewing and parrots...what more you could ask for?

  18. Sentimental Journey

Sentimental Journey is a depressing short starring James Stewart as Joe, the old WWII pilot who decides to take a casual night stroll on the tarmac to discover his beloved DC-3 plane filled with cargo, as it's now considered obsolete for carrying passengers. When he boards the plane as it's left unattended, his mind wanders to audible flashbacks of "fonder" days. The man who is responsible for the plane hands him a stick of gum, just what anyone would possibly need to cure the existential blues. It's completely unremarkable, but filled with rather colorful voices during Joe's flashback, this short…

  19. Mutant Chronicles (2008)

Once upon a time, there was Mutant Chronicles Warzone and Chronopia, Target/Heartbreaker Games' mutosterone-boosted answer to Games Workshop's Warhammer Multiverse. So ultrapopular and beloved was the Nordic Necromutant Berzerker alternative, it spawned graphic novels and news of a Mutant Chronicles mopic by Pressman Films coming Summer 1997.

    That was 1996.

FF>> to 2008 and the Mutant Chronicles movie was finally unleashed... but that mopic certainly was a pale shadow of the major movie it was going to be if you can tell from the disconcerting dearth of Big Enough Fraggin' Guns and Big Shoulderpads in the final bargain basement product.
