  1. Summer camp massacre

Summer camp Massacre! It has Joe Estevez. Do you need another reason?
If so, there’s over the top and non acting combined together to make a über cheesy 80s slasher Style Film. It doesn’t quite have the same level of parking scenes as Birdemic, but the level of acting is totally on par.

  2. Crimes at the Dark house (1940)

The star of this British (ahem) 'thriller' was Tod Slaughter, who specialized in extremely hammy, over-the-top Victorian-style melodramas. All of his movies are low-budget potboilers, and he always plays the same character: a moustache-twirling, hand-rubbing villain, leering at some innocent maiden and plotting how to get his mitts on her. This movie is very loosely based on Wilkie Collins' 'The Woman in White'. Slaughter plays a maniac who kills a man then impersonates him to get his inheritance, even going so far as to marry his childhood-affianced fiancee! He murders anyone who gets in his way, and the whole thing…

  3. Christopher Crumpet

A weird little UPA cartoon about a spoiled kid who turns into a chicken when he throws a temper tantrum. His dad even calls him "a real ****-a-doodle-do."

  6. Art Is - 1971 "Imagination is our unique advantage; with it we are alive and aware"

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v08I1K-6bJ8

Ar ist. Art is a sidewalk. Art is a talking mime. Art is building a steam tractor. Art is climbing up a statue. Art is lens flare.

Most of all, "Art Is" an incredibly pretentious educational short. One that makes everyone involved in it look bad.

  8. Seconds (1966)

The Rock (that's Hudson, not THE Rock) stars in this B&W sci-fi about a dull man who thinks undergoing an identity change, complete with plastic surgery, will free him from stress. The plot is slightly interesting, but the awful camera angles/shots make it almost unbearable. I suspect the director, John Frankenheimer, was trying to be artsy. It's got an opening credits that would be perfect for an MST - it's swirly close ups of face... including nostrils!!! I could just see Mike (or Joel) and the Bots waving their arms and dodging the screen shouting, "NO!" In addition, there's a…

  11. Policewomen

Another film that appears Russ Meyer influenced but all the passion is lacking. It's no Supervixen just a cheesy "lady cop" flick. Not sure how it would be for riffing but worth checking out. Bridget and Mary Jo might have fun with this one.

  15. Blackbelt

Bet you don't get this one often, but I was in this movie (hard to believe I would admit to being in a Roger Corman movie). It was filmed in the late 80's and released in 1992 (so you know the hair was good anyway). We filmed the entire movie on only three sets so obviously this was a typical block buster Corman deal. It stars my old friend Don "the Dragon" Wilson, the light-heavy weigh World Kick Boxing Champion and the interesting thing about it is, the name. That is because everyone who fights (or gets KO'ed anyway) is…

  16. Magic Gift of the Snowman (Video 1995)

How does former whistleblower, Edward Snowden become a Frosty the Snowman ripoff? Or is it ripping off the David Bowie narrated short, The Snowman?

  19. The Evil (1978)

Seems to meet the criteria for a good riff: it's stupid, schlocky, and takes itself way too seriously.

  20. Farm (2010)

Of the modern genre of "bleak, camcorder zombie movies," this may be the bleakest camcorder zombie movie I've ever seen. Every meal is filmed in its entirety, and they have many, many meals, each as bland-looking as the movie. The origins of a character's soiled red sweatshirt are revealed in a sentimental flashback scene. So amazingly joyless and unexciting. Many walking scenes. So, so much pathos. I found it on a 8-movie dvd in the cutout bin during Halloween. Must be seen to be believed.
