  4. The Kids of Degrassi Street

The show that started the Canadian institution of Degrassi, this adorable and weird show features the adventures of some 10 year old kids in the early 80s. The video quality is wobbly, the opening credits are somewhere between depressing and horror movie, and everyone is very Canadian. Mrs Mackenzie is maybe the most Canadian character in Canada. The kids have strong personalities and interesting fashion sense, and do inexplicable kid stuff.

  5. Battlefield Baseball

I'm suggesting you riff "Battlefield Baseball" for three reasons:

    1) It is one of the weirdest Japanese movies ever made (it's both a baseball movie AND a monster flick, with scads of mayhem, martial arts, explosions, some baseball, and goofy Japanese kids). Oh, and it's a musical. It's a cross-genre masterpiece of the bizarre.

    2) As far as I know, you've never done a baseball movie, thus giving you an opportunity to break new comedic ground.

    3) It has zombies, which every baseball movie should have.

You can find a subtitled version at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNJrGRVcjgQ

  6. Crowfoot (1995)

An Amish ghost, and Crowfoot, the whitest native American psychic cop, and a little ole psychically connected Asian lady/sidekick who talks to God... in a underwhelming tv pilot that never gets picked up.

  7. Evil Dead (2013)

Remake of the original Evil Dead (1981). It’s not scary and needs humor in it. Please help this movie out and bestow a 3 RiffTrax.

  8. Treasure (1993)

This is B movie in the likes of The Goonies. A summer time adventure of three teenage boys to find lost treasure. It's horrible and great at the same time! Always thought this would be a great riff, please check it out!

  12. Caught in a Rip-Off (1974)

From the people who brought you "Cheating" and "Shake Hands with Danger" comes this 1974 scare film about shoplifting, entitled "Caught in a Rip-Off." Some unseen guy who sniffed one too many cans of spray paint (to paraphrase the words of one YouTube commenter) tells about how clerks in your local Hobby Lobby employ one sly tactic after another to discourage burglary. Accentuated with weird (but not atypical) 1970s Moog synthesizer musical stings, this makes for an interesting subject that is riff-worthy.

  15. Gremlins 2

Really this Key and Peele sketch says it all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x01l_jMhjVM

Simply put, like many riffed titles, did this movie need a sequel? The plot (ha, ha, ha- uhum, excuse me) is as follows: An army of malevolent little monsters take over a high-tech corporate skyscraper when a cute and intelligent exotic pet is exposed to water. The "Mogwai's" owner joins forces with the Trump-like head of the corporation to regain control. Come on guys, the thing almost writes itself. Let's do it.

  16. Night watch

Based on a popular Russian book series, Night Watch was supposed to be Russia's answer to American action blockbusters.

    The result is... umm.. special.

It's part Russian Ghostbusters, part Doomsday movie, part Matrix, part Blade, and completely incomprehensible.

Oh! And there's a dude who literally uses his spine as a sword. As in, pulls it out of his back.

I attended the Doctor Who: The Five Doctors rifftrax live, and enjoyed it much more than I anticipated. Are there any plans to release an mp3 version of the jokes?

  19. The Lonely Lady (1983)

This awful Harold Robbins penned sexploitation drama stars Pia Zamora. It gets 2.2 stars on IMDB. So very bad. The writing, the acting, everything.
