  1. Star Knight

One of those ridiculous 1980s fantasy films that tried to add a science fiction element and failed miserably. The worst of both worlds in one package!

  3. Space Station 76

Though this was suggested earlier, I'd thought I'd better expand this one so those can comprehend it why it should be included on the RiffTrax List.

Basically Space Station 76 was supposed to spoof the space craze which plagued films of the late-70s, thanks to Lucas' Star Wars. The problem came that some where so bad they even made the Star Wars' Holiday Special acceptable (Anyone recall 'The Ice Pirates,' or 'Galaxina?'). So sticking with the RMR format, I give the crew three good, detailed reason on why this film should be considered, although it's more on the recent end…

  4. Beyond Atlantis (1973)

Starring one of John Wayne's kids, John Ashley known for such greats as: How to Stuff a Wild Bikini and the little known debut of Grace Armas (the screaming lady from National Lampoon's senior trip) as several of the swimming Atlanteans (No joke, I can give you her business # to verify that, she lives in Canada.)...Oh Sid Haig's in it too I guess. Marvel at terrible cinematic and even worse foam rubber tentacles. Watch an entire civilization struggle to make one woman mate.

  5. Elysium

Please do Elysium!! Jodie Foster's acting is awful, script is awful, several unbelievably hilarious moments that are supposed to be serious, and the whole thing is very clearly immigration propaganda.

  6. Future Hunters

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097404/?ref_=rvi_tt This movie reminded me of Axe Cop, insofar as it has about five different plots/set pieces that are supposed to connect to tell a story, bit actually have nothing to do with one another. The film ping-pongs from a Mad Max like future to a bike gang hassling a guy and his girlfriend to a kung-fu flick to a jungle adventure with both amazons and pygmies. Oh, and Nazis. Can't forget about the over-the-top, scenery-chewing Nazis. It is... special.

  7. Menace From Outer Space (Rocky Jones: Space Ranger III)

'Manhunt in Space' and 'Crash of the Moons' were two of my favorite MST3K episodes, but there are still plenty of Rocky Jones "movies" left to riff. I'm not sure of the availability of later episodes, but 'The Gypsy Moon' (featuring more John Banner!) and 'Menace from Outerspace' were both released independently on DVD, and as far as I know, are now in the public domain.

You can watch the entire "movie" here.

  8. Dark Rider (1991)

When a gang of thugs headed by a corrupt developer start murdering business owners of a small desert town, it's up to the "mysterious" dark rider to bring the justice! Also, something about toxic waste in the wells.

This instant classic is brought to us by AIP Studios, the people responsible for Firehead, which gives you an idea of what sort of film it will be. Dark Rider features 1) caricatures of real characters trying vainly to remember their timing, 2) Joe Estevez's sunglasses, 3) awkward jokes, 4) an unintentionally inept FBI agent, 5) awkward pauses, 6) pull zooms, 7)…

  9. Gorilla at Large

Gorilla at Large (1954) . Filmed in gorgeous Technicolor and starring Anne Bancroft, CAMERON MITCHELL, Lee J. Cobb, Raymond Burr, and Lee Marvin in a supporting role. This movie has a ridiculous plot, guys in gorilla suits, gorgeous babes, little people, and it looks amazing (originally filmed in 3D). And did I mention , CAMERON MITCHELL?

  11. The Devil's Gift (1984)

Anyone remember "Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders"? If so, then chances are you might be familiar with an obscure 1980s horror film entitled "The Devil's Gift."

In addition to the scenes you may be familiar with, there were even more grotesque nightmare scenes or (mostly) unnecessary filler scenes that give me the idea that "The Devil's Gift" can't decide if it wants to be kid-friendly or hardcore. Whatever the case, watching the original movie left me depressed. For those who are curious, here is the YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5FeQ5rmKMY

  12. Birdman

    Reasons to review it:

    1) In my opinion, it's an overrated film with a plot we've seen a billion times and more long shots that would make Stanley Kubrick get out of his grave and yell "ENOUGH!"

    2) This gets best picture and not say...The Avemgers?!

    3) Michael Keaton's attempt to remind the world he's Batman...and ends up scaring the s*it out of people causing them to bleach their childhood memories.

  14. walking tall

the 2004 semi-hit from WWE & MGM "Walking Tall" staring The Rock, Johnny Knoxville, and Kristen Wilson. The acting is bad, it's fast paced enough to hold interest and there are many many copies floating around at a cheap price.

Swedish film from 70s about a troll bringing toys to life to keep him company.

Early attempt to mix animation with live action.

  18. "San Francisco International Airport" (The TV Series)

MST3K featured the show's original feature-length Pilot during its sixth Season, but there are still six hour long episodes of this short lived TV series remaining. Lloyd Bridges (AIRPLANE, HOT SHOTS), who was not in the Pilot, came in later as a series regular. The show covered the different dramas of several different people at the San Francisco International Airport.

  20. The Substitute (1996)

Ultra-cheesy 1996 movie starring Tom Berenger, Ernie Hudson (as Principal Rolaid), Marc Anthony (yes the 'I Need To Know' Marc Anthony). Really bad acting and SO many opportunities for riffing. Tom Berenger is an ex-SEAL or something who becomes substitute teacher at a rough inner-city Miami high school to avenge the beating of his teacher girlfriend. He encounters gang-banger students and a drug pushing Principal (Rolaids). Hilarity ensues.
