  18. Thunderbirds Are GO (1966)

OR Thunderbird 6 (1968). How can anyone not love these movies (based on the 1965 British TV series) with marionette puppets playing all the characters? With their perpetually shaky heads, huge glassy eyes, and elaborate miniature costumes, props, and sets, they're bizarrely endearing. Also, prolonged sequences featuring detailed scale models of fantastic vehicles for land, air, water, and space. It's all so, so bad and yet so lovingly made. Watch carefully, close-ups of the puppet's hands were done using actual human hands. Why? I don't know, but I love it!
