Paddle To The Sea
28 minute short I had to watch in elementary school.
A boy carves a canoe out of wood and sends it on it's greatly improbable way to the ocean.
Along the way, the canoe meets people and has adventures.
The canoe does.
Yes.

DRACULA 1931
The 1931 Universal horror classic is still entertaining, quite atmospheric, also with passage of time quaint and humorous. It's not like other movies because it's so old and early in the "talkie" epoch. It might even scare Mike, Kevin & Bill a little bit.

Janet and the Food Genie (1967)
Janet may as well be Henry Slinkman's daughter. Her mother has sent her to the grocery store but she doesn't know what food grades mean!
Fortunately, she can count on the help of an animated Food Genie. He takes her on a whirlwind tour of food processing plants and laboratories where she learns all about how food is graded. She must have been collecting the groceries during her factory visits because the film ends with her putting the groceries away.
The genie is barely animated, and those animations are recycled a lot. Location shots are intermingled with stock fotage. An…

Mandy
It's Nicolas Cage at his best. The movie is downright awful and you really have to power through 30-40 minutes of bad to get to the amazing scenes with Cage. Just know that there's a scene where....
SPOILER
Cage literally crushes a mans head with his bare hands until his eyes pop out.

ernest goes to camp
I love Jim Varney, but even though you may have loved this movie as a kid, it's not the kind you can really enjoy as an adult. It's fairly depressing, and having Iron Eyes Cody as main character kind of caps off the unpleasantness. Which is what would make it perfect for riffing!

Help Wanted: Kids
One of Disney's made-for-tv movies from the '80s. I think the synopsis from a Disney Wiki sums it up best:
When the Burkes lose their jobs in New York, they have to move to Arizona, where Tom has an job-offer in the management of a small company for children's clothing.
Unfortunately Tom's new boss Sirus Lovelin turns out to be extremely fond of the traditional American family and automatically assumes Amanda to be housewife and mother - but the Burkes don't even have children! To not offend him, they "hire" two kids they met prowling the streets. When they turn…

Catweazle
I'm an American/Dutch dual citizen, living in Holland for ten years and the US west coast for fifty years before that.
My Dutch husband called one of our kitties "Catweazle" this evening, and I asked him what on earth he was talking about. It turns out that "Catweazle" was a British-made children's show from the early '70s that he watched on TV as a small child.
I watched Season 1, Episode 1 of "Catweazle" (oh, I never get tired of typing that name!) on YouTube, and it was fifteen minutes of riff-worthy delight.
I had never heard of this show…

Rings
Another installment in the already overdone franchise. This one has everything.
It is rife with tired cliches from the franchise and the horror genre alike.
The acting is scarier than most of the telegraphed jump-scares. (Jhonny Galecki from Big Bang Theory is in it.)
There are at least two plot threads (including the one that opens the movie) that could have been left out entirely and probably should have.
The list goes on but you only asked for three.
