  1. Dark Heritage

This is an extremely low-budget adaptation of the H. P. Lovecraft story The Lurking Fear. It has horrible acting, lighting, and sound but is largely faithful to the source except toward the end. It has clearly low-budget special effects but still manages a couple of creepily effective scenes. It basically screams out the kind of '80s B movie it is. It's the perfect movie for you guys to riff.

  2. Dark Heritage (1989)

This is an extremely low-budget adaptation from 1989 of the H. P. Lovecraft story The Lurking Fear. It's mostly faithful to the source except toward the end. It has horrible acting, visuals, and audio with some poor special effects giving it the true feel of the '80s B movie it is. It does have a couple of effectively creepy scenes, but overall it's the perfect kind of movie for you guys to riff.

  3. Urusei Yatsura the Movie 4: Lum the Forever

The most underappreciated of so bad their good movies.

    Story is delightfully nonsensical.

Tries to be philosophical but fails.

Characters have the bizarrest answer to stopping the magical happenings around them.

    Has a weird dream fetus.

  4. The Quick and The Undead

This is an absolutely painful indy Texas horror movie with a Desperado wannabe who has a guitar case full of boring supplies, some zombies, an overacting sheriff... it's a thing of beauty.

  5. The Tiger Rising

A new movie the whole family will enjoy, with a RiffTrax to listen to. It's a completely deranged movie, with awful effects, terrible child acting, and clichés up the wazoo. I admit I've only seen bits and pieces of it at the theater I'm working at, but every piece I see I keep thinking "This would be perfect for RiffTrax."

  6. Love Bites (1992)

Crappy gay romcom that completely ignores the vampire premise beyond casual mentions. The main character is boring and everybody else is a walking cliche.

  7. The Shout (1978)

From Wikipedia: "Crossley (Alan Bates), a mysterious travelling man invades the lives of a young couple, Rachel and Anthony Fielding (Susannah York and John Hurt). Anthony is a composer, who experiments with sound effects and various electronic sources in his secluded Devon studio. The couple provides hospitality to Crossley but his intentions are gradually revealed as more sinister. He claims he has learned from an Aboriginal shaman how to produce a "terror shout" that can kill anyone who hears it unprotected."

  8. Super Cop

Not a bad movie but with Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh as a Hong Kong detective teams up with his female Red Chinese counterpart to stop a Chinese drug czar. It's a funny movie and perfect for riffing

  9. The Last Witch Hunter

Reasonably typecast Catholic Knight Templar Vin Diesel and his forever clueless looking Catholic priest buddy Elijah Wood make a great comedy duo hunting witches like Game of Thrones wildling Rose Leslie.

Despite the cast, including Michael Cane, you just can't unsee or forget the ridiculous moments Groot, Frodo and Ygritte bring to the table.

So many pauses and given the fact that Vin Diesel speaks as slowly as Groot there's a lot of room for some good riffing.

  10. Dave Made A Maze

The movie is about a guy named Dave who decides to build a cardboard fort while his girlfriend, Annie, is out of town. In the process, he ends up becoming trapped and Annie has to lead an expedition into the maze to rescue Dave while avoiding traps, angry cardboard creatures, and a Minotaur.

    1) The movie has only light puns occasionally, so it has room for jokes.
    2) It's 81 minutes long, so it's reasonably sized.
    3) It has an extremely creative environment which is low-cost fantasy.
Mention: there is violence, but blood is shown as red streamers. The text…

  12. The Space Creature (1982)

I can't tell if this is a student film, a passion project, or just a quick cash grab, but the alien in this "movie" is like a cross between Mac from "Mac and Me" and Shrek, with a dash of Hobgoblins.

  15. Belle and the Beast: A Christian Romance (2007)

This low budget modern take on the classic fairy tale has a lot of material to work with!! The acting is forced, the dialogue is cheesy, the drama is ridiculous, and couple that with some homemade Mandy Moore wannabe soundtrack and you’ve got oodles of joke potential. I laughed out loud watching this. I dream of what could be, please check it out!!

  16. Karen

Please RiffTrax Karen (2021), the most on the nose, unself-aware disaster of a social commentary to come out of Hollywood's recent attempts to turn major and politically divisive news stories into a cash grabs. The fact that the writer/director's name is Coke tells you all you need to know about where most of the film's food services budget went.

  17. Vampiro: Night Warrior

    https://www.shoutfactorytv.com/vampiro-night-warrior/60afe82df4c0f70001a4621a

This is a vile mashup of Neutron the Atomic Superman vs. the Death Robots, Star Wars, Future Force/Zone, and Pod People. I mean, why wouldn't that turn out to be a blockbuster?

    A) The music is naturally fantastic...ly horrendous.
    2) Why put The End on the screen when you can save money by dubbing in "The End"?
III) Lot's of, um, grunting? noises from all participants as these clearly aren't actors.

Somehow got a 3.8/10 on The IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0360142/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

  18. Dauntless: The Battle of Midway (2019)

An attempted cash grab on the heels of Roland Emmerich's Midway. Poor acting, lighting, spacing and special effects. A pilot floating in the ocean discovers a lighter in his pocket and starts to light a cigarette. Only then does water remember the effect it has on fire. At least the filmmakers acknowledge that shooting a film in their backyard does not make for the best quality and claim in the credits that they flog themselves daily.

  19. Doctor X 1932

Someone is killing and cannibalizing people during the full moon! Which of the super suspious people could it be? The guy who wrote the book about eating people, the guy who totally ate his shipmate, the guy who is missing parts of his body, or the crazy doctor who thought it was a great idea to have these people work for him? Also there is a scene in which everyone allows themselves to be handcuffed to a seat with a murderer in the room. But you know what this film needs more of? Bumbling police guy who has the hots…

  20. In the Line of Duty: Blaze of Glory

    • The famous chin of horror icon Bruce Campbell is often covered by a fake beard.
    • Lori Loughlin plays a bad girl with bipolar disorder.
    • Loughlin herself wears a fake beard at one point.
    • Portland, Oregon is passed off as Chicago, Illinois.
