The Mummy Returns
This movie progresses at a rapid enough pace so that there is plenty of material to riff off of. There are several weird moments that are great for jokes too. Some examples: Zombie monkeys, poorly explained flashbacks, attempts at dumb comedy that fall a little flat, and poor quality CG.

Saw KTMA review Revenge of the Mysterons from Mars. Though not canon to MST3K, I couldn't stop laughing at the puppet show that was going on.

Sooper Goop
Yeah, this one is a short I've seen when I was in elementary school called Sooper Goop.
This one discusses about the downside of 'kids' cereal' and how they pull out schemes to make kids want something they don't need.

Crying Freeman (1995)
A live action film in 1995 based on the Seinen Manga by the same name. Crying Freeman was directed by Christophe Gans, famous for the film Brotherhood of the Wolf. The film stars Mark Dacascos as the titular character.
Riff material includes:
- Weepy-eyed Mark (Oh hi Mark)
- Emu (Yes that's the love interest's name) popping a Champagne bottle onto the painting she made of Yoh (Mark). It looks... sexual...
- Yoh clearly naked when he approaches Emu's bed, but after the love scene he suddenly has a white jockstrap on.

Get Crazy (1983)
Sandwiched between two epic fails, Get Crazy is a sadly under seen cult movie musical gem directed by Alan Arkush (the best being Rock & Roll High School.)
3 good reasons to Riff this film:
The cast is unbelievable (Malcolm McDowell, Lou Reed, Lee Ving, Mary Woronov, Ed Begley, Jr., Daniel Stern, that guy from The Doors, etc.) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085551/
The song "Hoochie Coochie Man" is heard several times, in different genres The best version is performed by Lee Ving https://youtu.be/zRfk3UIjJTQ
Ed Begley, Jr. is the silver jump-suited villain, and his henchmen are...Bobby Sherman and Fabian! https://youtu.be/_-JjKAg8j9E
Hmmm, the two epic…

Desperation (2006)
A film based on a Stephen King book (pause for laughter) about a town in Nevada called Desperation where a psychotic sheriff (Ron Pearlman) is capturing or killing everyone passing through.
Reasons for my riff request:
1. Ron Pearlman chewing scenery like Nick Cage on bath salts.
2. Bizarre dialogue that only a Stephen King mini series could deliver.
3. Comically hamfisted pseudo-religious twaddle that always seems to boil down explanations of what's happening to "because God said so, shut up."
4. A kid escapes jail with a magic bar of glowing green Irish Spring.17 votes
