Both of the TV movies are horrible but I agree that the second one is probably better for riffing. Christopher Lee as the evil mastermind... Miguel. John Tesh's future wife Connie Seleca co-stars. Portland Oregon gets crop dusted with a gas that ages people 1 month in 15 minutes (but the budget only allowed them to show a baby go from 6-months old to ... 12 months old).
Reb's accent in this sounds like George W. Bush. Truly, he is the ultimate American!

I haven't tried any H.265 encoding but I re-encode everything I buy using XMedia Recode (free but not open source) and am able to reduce the file size by about 50% with nearly as good video quality. Heck, with the 1080p videos I can reduce the files from around 12GB to 2GB by re-encoding the video in h.264 with at the same full HD resolution and comparable quality (Constant Quality = 25 is the sweet spot to me). I don't really mind doing it myself but I know that most people don't want to spend the time figuring it out and doing it. Then again, maybe everyone streams the movies anymore, I don't know.
