Masters of the Universe
Courtney Cox AND Dolph Lundgren! 80s romp through Earth and Eternia!

With Kevin Smith’s sequel reboot coming soon, it’s the perfect time to riff this one!

Full of 80's cheese, Meg Foster, and Frank Langella as Skelator! It has so, so many bizarre scenes that need riffed like when Skelator first enters his castle it takes him like for ever to get to his throne! I mean he should pack a lunch to get there! It's just over the top crazy!
If I had a riff - wish list, it would have SuperVan, Cats, Shocking Dark and Masters of the Universe on it!

I think it’d be quite funny if Bridget and Mary Jo riffed this one. Dolph Lundgren. He-Man.

As much as I love MotU, this movie is well-deserving of a riff. A live riff would be even better, especially if enough funds can be raised to make Kevin a Gwildor costume.

Everyone here: I agree whole-heartedly! xD
And yes, Dolph is hot. So there is that. ;) -

The Liveaction He-Man movie is just so deranged in so many ways. There is nothing about it that isn't utterly bewildering in concept or execution. My favorite bit is Skeletor's gang of bounty hunters he borrowed directly from Darth Vader in Empire Strikes Back.
Also: He-Man is wickedly hot, despite the utter WTFness of everything about his costume, so there's that.

This is an excellent idea - partially because the movie is terrible but watchable. Frank Langella is so over the top but compelling, and actually refers to this as one of his favorite roles. So many ways to make this funny, the actors are so earnest.

Let's not get greedy. I'll take this riff treatment anyway (live or otherwise).
Honest Trailers just tackled the **** of it.

This has already been suggested, but not as a live show.
The entire time I was watching this, I could literally see the three boxes to the right of the screen showing Mike, Kevin, and Bill with microphones. It has RiffTrax LIVE show written all over it.It is the perfect example of a cheesy late 80's movie, with Dolph Lundgren portraying the character that apparently put the Ghostbusters out of popularity: He-Man. Courtney Cox and the Principal from 'Back to the Future' are also along for the ride, and there's plenty of hamminess to go around. Not to mention the Star Wars cantina-esque creatures and awful special effects.
I honestly think this would be an excellent investment for a live show in 2020. Please consider it. Thank you!

It's the PERFECT movie to riff. I'm surprised as hell they haven't done this yet!

I just watched this on Netflix because I remember loving it as a kid. This movie must be Riffed ASAP!
It's like Space Mutiny on steroids. No, literally - Dolph Lungren is pretty much David Ryder on steroids. Plus you've got lasers everywhere, Courtney Cox, and the principal from Back to the Future.
C'mon! Do it for Big McLarge Huge! -

Me and my friends did our own "riffin" on this thing and despite how completely unwatchable it is, it was great for easy riffing. However, its reminiscent of the Super Mario movie, cause its such a mangled, confusing version of the He-Man cartoon & story... not that the cartoon wasn't a complete turd, but if you're going to make a movie about He-Man & the Masters of the Universe, have it resemble the cartoon for God's sake! I mean, where the hell is Orko, you bastards?!
