A film starring Lon Chaney Jr., directed by Jerry Warren! Looks like one they should riff!

  5. Fatal exam

    Fatal Exam (1990)

This movie has everything: 45 year old college students who drive station wagons; community theater-level stilted dialogue; hideous late 80s fashion; doughy dudes with poodle hair and ersatz Tom of Finland mustaches; crummy special effects; a haunted house; everything! This could be a great companion piece to Ghost House! Please please please riff this bad boy!

  6. Predator 2

Does this really need a description. Danny Glover, Bill Paxton's outlandish character. Gary Busey is the gung ho military operator. This is a steaming pile riffe for the riff.

  8. Death by Invitation

Someone's ancestors likely did something wrong to your ancestors hundreds of years ago. So what do you do? Do you try to seek revenge in a reasonable way by writing a book and going on the 70s equivalent of the Oprah Winfrey show to talk about it? Or would you rather murder their modern day counterparts?

If the answer is murder, then you may have something in common with this film. I don't think I could describe this any better than Bleeding Skull has:

"During colonial times, Lise is dragged through a town square. Some of the locals wear KISS…

  10. The Mysterious Monsters (1975)

1970s cryptid documentary produced in the wake of Chariots of the Gods. Three reasons to riff:
    1. Hosted by MST3K favorite/Film Crew favorite Peter Graves.
    2. Shaky evidence and presented as schlocky docudrama
    3. Bigfoot caught committing breaking and entering, complete with alleged police report.

  13. StarLost

Have you riffed or thought about riffing the gawdawful 70s sci fi series “StarLost”.. disavowed by Harlan Ellison featuring a moustached Keir Dullea (2001), firmly demonstrating that Canada can make sci fi far far cheesier and with way more chroma keyed effects and weird synth music than any Dr Who episode produced during the same period. There are only 16 merciless episodes - but any one would be glorious if possible. Thanks for all you do!!!

  14. Mother goose rock n rhyme

if you thought The Apple was an insane acid trip, you haven't seen this.
    1. it has a plot... sort of, like a fever dream has a plot.
    2. it has some of the biggest names in pop music in it. Example: Ben Vereen as the itsy bitsy spider, need I say more?
    3. Teri Garr... as Little Bo Peep.
    this must be riffed immediately.

  15. The Search For Santa Paws

What at first comes across as another one of those dumb dog movies with Santa quickly takes a dark and depressing turn when in the first five seconds of the movie we find out Santas best friend died. After that it just progressively gets worse from there with Santa being the victim of a hit and run, abused orphans who get there toys burned, dogs getting thrown into fireplaces, AND Santa has a heart attack and almost dies at the end of the movie. One of the orphans even asks, "Is Santa Going To Die?".

  16. Nightfall

It’s an Asimov book made into a movie. Very Cage Dwellers look and feel but missing all the interesting parts. I rented the DVD from Netflix, and had a hard time not riffing it.

  18. The Brain Machine (1977)

A group of volunteers take part in a top-secret experiment involving a computer that can read minds. Designed to be therapeutic, the system performs its tasks with cold efficiency. Misinterpreting the subjects' mild illusions of immortality as dangerous delusional states of denial, the system takes drastic measures to "cure" this "condition" by initiating an extermination program. As scientists race to destroy the computer, shadowy agents from the darker corners of government insist at gunpoint that the experiment run its course to the inevitable bloody conclusion.

  19. werewolf of Washington (1973)

A reporter (Dean Stockwell ) who has had an affair with the daughter of the U.S. President is sent to Hungary. There he is bitten by a werewolf, and then gets transferred back to Washington, where he gets a job as press assistant to the President. Then bodies start turning up in D.C. . . . I remember seeing this on Elvira's Movie Macabre and thought this would make for a great riff.

  20. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword

Please Riff Guy Richie’s wonderfully anachronistic “Street” take on the Excalibur Legend complete with a scenery chewing Jude Law as villainous tyrant and SOA’s Charlie Hunnam as a bomber jacket wearing working class Arthur and a multicultural future Knights of the Round Table even “Guinevere” is a humorless witch. There’s so much fun to be had in parade of slow-motion, acrobatic swordfights, there are gigantic CGI rats, snakes,, wolves, and elephants. This is a octane fueled tree full of low hanging fruit the Rifftrax boy need to pick!
