2. Mannix

   The MST3K crew often made references to "Mannix," one of my all-time favorite shows. Why not do a riff on an episode of that classic series? Season 1 had Mannix working for a hi-tek detective agency. Mannix's specialty was insubordination. Season 2 onward he was on his own, with a regular stable of frenemy lieutenants, and oddly colored sportjackets.

3. New Year's Eve

   The Bechdel Cast podcast finished up 2020 by discussing the movie "New Year's Eve," overall giving examples of why it's very bad.

4. Superman Fleischer cartoons

   These cartoons from the 40s are beautifully animated and are so fun to watch, yet I csmt help but think some riffing might make it even more fun (the robots alone are worth it). There's also not a lot of dialogue, so there's plenty of space for riffs.

   boonie bears is a Chinese animated cartoon brand shown on multiple Chinese platforms and television stations, including Central China Television (CCTV) and Beijing Television Network (BTV). The series features two bears, Briar and Bramble, who try to stop Logger Vick from destroying their forest home. Boonie Bears was first shown in January 2012 and became the most popular children's show in China. More than 700 thirteen-minute episodes have been produced so far. Boonie Bears: Homeward Journey is also a featured film and the seventh installment, Boonie Bears: The Wild Life, premiered on Netflix on 9 October 2020. it's one of my favorite chinese cartoons and perhaps the only one so far. the second movie makes fun of disney's frozen like how spaceballs made fun of star wars and son of the beach made fun of baywatch. whoever should take an interest or obsession in boonie bears should only be in it to use them to be made fun of by paroding get smart opening theme and a 90s style sitcom or whatever. and that's why you should riff the series movies.

10. It's Wonderful Being a Girl

    Oh, this brings back a memory! In 5th grade, the girls got a note that they were going to the auditorium to see this film while we were stuck in class. As the Paul McCartney song "Girls' School" says, "they put the papers on the window"! I remember being jealous that the girls got their own movie.
    When I asked one of the girls what the movie was about, I got a very terse "none of your business"! This would make a great short to riff -- although it might be safer for Bridget and Mary Jo to do it!

13. Crackerjack 2 (aka ******* Train)

    A gritty, late 90's action thriller, featuring Judge Reinhold cast against type as a cop-on-his-own hero named Jack Wild. It's the "Die ******* a Train" that Under Siege 2: Dark Territory TRIED to be.

    I remember Reinhold appearing on (I think?) Letterman back in 1997, mentioning this being his next film, then showing a clip of a fight scene with him kicking ***, striking vague martial arts poses, and doing spin-kicks in his underwear. When it cut back to the host, the flabbergasted reactions from Dave and the audience said it all.

    Oh, and there is no "Crackerjack 1", in case you didn't guess.

15. Titanic (1943)

    The 1943 Titanic movie is a truly insane piece of Nazi propaganda. Goebbels' passion project, the movie cost Germany a sum comparable at the time to the budget of the James Cameron movie...and then couldn't be released in Germany because it was a more effective piece of anti-Nazi propaganda than anti-British (and a movie about 1500 people dying while massive casualties were being suffered on the Eastern front was probably going to be more demoralizing than helpful).

    While the title suggests a tragedy about a ship, most of the movie is actually obsessed with stock market manipulation - characters spend their time reading about stocks, talking about stocks, and trying to manipulate stocks. The main character is a German officer named Petersen who spends most of his time trying to get the ship to slow down, and whose coat allows anybody wearing it to give orders to the crew, regardless of who they may be. Eventually, an iceberg, U-Boat-like, sneaks up to the side of the ship and puts a hole in it.

16. Idea: The Random button for shorts!

    Okay I'm a long term Rifftrax member, and I have a huge collection of shorts and movies.

    However sometimes me and my friend want to watch a bunch of shorts and we can't decide!
    ( I mean usually we watch the rifftrax on Twitch when we can't decide, but sometimes we want a couple of shorts instead of a whole movie to watch)

    So what we want to ask you for is a "Pick me a short!" random button.
    And an option within that for: "only shorts I own" / "all shorts"

    That's all!
    I would love for this to be an available function.
