The monster maker
It doesn't get much better... Creepy scientist, gorilla costume, good sound with lots of pauses AND it's public domain!

The Nutshack
I'm not sure if this counts as a short, it's a TV show, but I couldn't find a TV show suggestion function. So anyway, this is one of the worst cartoons ever made, and I think you could get some material out of this.

Brave Little Toaster
I think you guys should riff the movie, Brave Little Toaster about 86'-88'. It seems like such a great cartoon you guys would love to riff! Freaky clown is included in the movie. I don't know why; it's a kids movie lol.

Lost TV Pilot: America 2100 (1978)
Once again I bring another lost bizarre pilot from the late 70s. A year before Starstruck, ABC apparently greenlighted this disturbing concept reminiscent of Woody Allen's Sleeper, and later Futurama.
But not in a really good way.
Basically the premise goes something to this effect: two standup comedians down on their luck attempt to keep warm within their freezing hotel room. One decides to boil milk for some reason, while the other has them take some sleeping pills.
Mysteriously as a result, the gas from the oven kills them, but the cold air somehow freezes them cryogenically, where they end…

Catman In Lethal Track; Catman In Boxer's Blow
If ever there were two movies destined for the Rifftrax crowd, it would be the two Catman "films." Simply the best things the early 90's, a man with a dream and a three hundred dollar budget ever produced. Being scratched by a cat gives a man super powers, so of course he then takes on drug cartels! Because... just because! I bought these two films (no one was as shocked as me that the DVD's actually played) or a combined total of one dollar. They were being sold at the grungiest Farmers Market that ever existed along side machetes and…

The Driver's Seat
The Driver's Seat. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071442/
Andy Warhol does the mannequins and Liz Taylor brings the batshit crazy. A pretty funny movie (and book) on its own, but, man, is this thing begging to be stabbed to death. Um, I mean riffed. Just don't wear anything stain-resistant. You've been warned! (This might be a good one for Mary Jo & Bridget, especially.)13 votes -
High School Musical China (2011)
Yes, Disney did make a remake of High School Musical, only it takes place in Shanghai.

Flika (2006)
No, this is not the old "My Friend Flika" with Roddy McDowell. This is the 2006 remake version full of shame. A teenage girl disobeys her father and tries to ride a dangerous horse, falls off and bruises her back, but in the end it's all okay and she's the hero! What about that says "This can't be riffed?" Nothing! The acting is pretty bad, too. There are also two sequels that were even worse. They all need to be made fun of.

Dance or Die
I saw this movie tonight and it's perfect Rifftrax fodder: a near-Miami Connection-level '80s fever dream of coke dealing, excessive violence, tasteless sex scenes, and lengthy choreographed dance numbers. The audience laughed throughout even without commentary. Please check it out!

extraordinary tales
An animated anthology of several classic Poe stories.
Why it should be riffed:
Bella Lugosi narrates "The Telltale Heart"
Frequent pauses in bad, over-dramatic dialogue (especially during "The Fall of the House of Usher")
Edgar Allen Poe is inexplicably portrayed as a raven having an argument with Death (spoiler alert!: Death wins)

Dracula 2000 Trilogy (Dracula 2000; Dracula II: Ascension; Dracula III: Legacy)
- Dracula starts as Gerard Butler and ends up as Rutger Hauer.
- That one vampire who has a giant mouth for a face. Spoiler alert -apparently, you kill this type of vampire by shoving a plastic bottle of holy water into said mouth/face.
- Serious lack of continuity between the first movie and its direct-to-video sequels. Van Helsing's daughter is supposed to be Dracula's new keeper. Her sole job is to prevent Dracula from being unleashed on the world again. But that same night, his body falls into the hands of med students, who of course proceed to reanimate him. Oops. Bonus…

Young Cycle Girls
This movie is comedy gold, especially with the silly Cruisin Down The Road song throughout the movie. It's Easy Rider with girls, riding across the country, meeting strange characters and then when they reach their destination they all get shot and killed. The end.

Deadly China Hero with Jet Li
Its riffs itself, a chicken costume fighting several men in a centipede costume, bad dubs and subs... Its gold!

1974 Buick Century (promotional short film)
BIG CARS that qualify as tiny houses by today's standards! David Hartman's sister has a cameo! And marvel as a fishing fly is tied in the passenger seat before your very eyes!
