  1. Zombie TIdal Wave

    the title alone is riffable.
It just premiered on Syfy (another reason to riff) and stars Ian "I'm tired of playing with sharks" Ziering,

Its got Swimming. ZOmbies. Need I say more?

  2. Assassinaut

    1) A group of kids, a nerd, an arrogant and wealthy youngster, etc are forced together under a domineering supervisor who detests all of them for making him be there. (No wait, that's The Breakfast Club... and this.)

    2) A spaceship crashes into a lake on an unknown planet. The occupants escape and as they reach the shore, they watch it sink. (No wait, that's Planet of the Apes... and this.)

    3) A lot... A LOT of walking and climbing.

  4. Apology for Murder (1945)

The film is basically a rip-off of Double Indemnity but instead of Fred MacMurray it's another TV dad, Hugh Beaumont! Despite his later performances on My Three Sons and Disney films, MacMurray cut a striking figure, even being the inspiration for Captain Marvel (Shazam.) Beaumont, well the "does June know about this?" jokes write themselves.

  8. Tentacolino

Also known as In Search of the Titanic, This is a movie sequel to Legend of the Titanic. This movie involves Atlantis & it's so poorly animated & dubbed you'd think they threw whatever into it to make it interesting, which they did, and it's bad. I first learned about this movie, and the two preceding this through Nostalgia Critic reviews.

  9. Disturbing Behavior

Set in a town where perfection is everything, this film features a young James Marsden, Katie Holmes, and a scene which shows how Tom Cruise probably proposed to Katie Holmes.

  10. The Clown That Laughed

This Movie is the inspiration for DC Comic's "The Joker." I think it'd make a good riff and it's probably public domain due to age.

  11. The Spectacle Maker (1934)

What we have here is a half hour, fairy tale-type short subject shot in 30's technicolor. In it, an old glasses maker with a crippled grandson learns from the Bible how to make a lens which shows the best in everything. After he becomes famous because of it, a seriously creepy guy cloaked in black recommends that he make a lens which shows truth. Things go down hill at that moment but it all works out in the end. Also, the creepy guy might be God. Watch for young Robert Taylor in the Duke's court.

  12. Lifeguard (1976)

    Lifeguard (1976)

Oscar nominee, Sam Elliot, plays a lifeguard alongside future Baywatch … CPR dummy … I mean actor/alumnus, Parker Stevenson.

  13. RT Live: Agent for HARM

    With guest riffer Jon Benjamin.

The original MST3K is hilarious, but I think a re-riff of the theatrical version would be even more so, especially if voice actor master Jon Benjamin was invited to add his talents to the crew.

  14. 2036 Origin Unknown

It's a Netflix original that seems like a halfway decent near-future speculative film about the relationships between AI and humans, along with a subplot (or maybe it's the main plot?) about a mysterious metal cube on Mars. There's another subplot that might be the main plot about a government conspiracy involving the secret connection between the cube and the AI, which is so dang clever and original you've probably already guessed what the secret is.

Then, with about 20 minutes to go, WHAM! Now it's a knockoff of 2001: A Space Odyssey with hamfisted rants about how mankind are doomed…

  16. The Frisco Kid

Winner of the Stinker awards for worst male accent and worst on screen couple. Gene Wilder stars as a very unconvincing Rabi from Poland sent to San Francisco. Along the way he is robbed and left wandering until helpful bank ****** Harrison Ford arrives to guide the rabi and teach him the meaning of the word shiiiieeet. The movie jumps from scene to scene like a bucking bronco but don't expect anything exciting like bull riding, NO SIR! Enjoy exciting stock nature footage, a train robbery without any gunshots, a bank robbery you don't actually see, and a chase scene…

  20. The Mummy Lives

it's a horrible movie from (I think) 1993. How bad? Tony Curtis... as the mummy! It must be riffed, ASAP
