  2. City Hunter (1993)

During the ninties, Japanese studios thought it would be fun to turn popular manga/anime into live-action films, long before Spielberg thought of doing it with 'The Flintstones.'

Anyhoo, City Hunter is based off the manga/anime with the same name, with Jackie Chan (no kidding) as the main character, Ryu Saeba.

Though I have nothing against Mr. Chan, if you've ever remotely viewed the manga/anime, you'll question the casting, because this would be like casting Steve Martin as Inspector Clea... oh, wait, never mind....

Back to the film, the story has Ryu and his associate Karoi searching for the daughter of…

  4. Manborg (2011)

Enter a world where WW III has broken out, not with countries but with HELL. People are dying everywhere and one, somewhat brave, solider has what it takes to defeat their leader - Count Draculon. Although the first encounter makes things seem like all hope is lost the solider gets brought back to life as half-man half-cyborg. Manborg is created. With the help of some great sidekicks, watch as the battle with hell's army ensues!!

While this has to be one of my favorite B movies of all times, I would love it if Rifftrax and Manborg came together even…

  5. The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

I just watched this and it hit me what a perfect movie this is for RifftraxThere are so many priceless moments in this early Ray Harryhausen movie. It is well acted but just so many Riffable moments. Like, when Sinbad escapes the cyclop's cage, and opens the door on top of the tiny Princess...Oops! And the dialog when Sinbad is wooing the Princess is totally over the top. I found myself riffing the whole way through, yet completely enjoying this movie

  7. Campfire Tales (1991)

Gunner Hansen comes upon a group of campers in the woods one evening and begins a terrible, laughably bad anthology of four "horror" themes tales. One includes a group of pot smokers who smoke a deadly kind of bud, and another includes pirates fighting zombies on a deserted island. Santa Claus makes an appearance as a blood lusting psychopath. All in all just your average movie experience from 1991! It's like Stand By Me on acid; a film that makes you laugh so hard it might give you a stomach ulcer.

  9. Abelar: Tales of an Ancient Empire (2010)

I have found the official sequel to The Sword and The Sorcerer... And it is the abomination known as... Abelar: Tales of an Ancient Empire (2010) starring Kevin Serbo, Michael Pare, Lee Horsley... The best description I could give would that it's really two movies that aren't even filmed the same. Lee Horsley's role suggests they found him homeless only put the furry coat on him. I don't even think the movie ends. A narrator just kinda rambles on of what I think is a rehash of everything you've just watched... And hey! It's on Netflix!

  10. The Gambler

Marky Mark rambles about Shakespeare, fixing NCAA basketball games and spending mommy's money in this mostly awful, sometimes poignant look at a man who is very good at losing money in casino games.

  11. Wild at the Wheel

This 1970s driver safety film follows Kenny, a teenager trying to be cool by speeding and driving aggressively. While looking down to change the radio station, he drives off a cliff, rolls his Mustang, and dies. The whole 10-minute film is narrated by a traffic investigator who goes into ridiculous detail psychoanalyzing Kenny in an attempt to determine his motivations for speeding, including interviewing his father, brother, boss, and teacher. Also, the soundtrack is damn funky. Major plus: the pauses in the narration are the perfect length for riffs. Watch it here: http://youtu.be/dJGuoiCiS9Q

  12. Amadeus

Yes, I said Amadeus. As you've already proven, there's no law that says you can't riff GOOD movies. I'll even provide a riff for you:

(In the beginning, as Salieri's servants break in to find he has cut his own throat with a razor:)

"I dunno...Sweeney Todd just does NOT work as a one-man show."

  15. High Moon

Failed scifi pilot turned into a TV movie has everything riffable: a plot that makes no sense and doesn't resolve, dialog that walks the line between snappy and ridiculous, nightmare monsters, gay Russian spy robots, Indian ninjas that explode into jelly...You know, standard scifi stuff. Oh and this all happens on the moon.

  19. Blood and Concrete

I first saw this movie years ago on The Movie Channel's "Drive-in Theater with Joe Bob Briggs. and I haven't been right since.
This films has so many continuity gaffs and is complete with a bad guy and henchman you won't soon forget plus it stars Billy Zane and Jennifer Beals as some sort of night club singer.

Don't get me wrong, I like both of these actors but this moves has so many WTF moments per scene it's worth a look.
But be warned, it is a bit violent and the language would make Joe Pesci blush.
