To solve this problem, the lovers hatch a plan involving the Stackpoole family: a collection of misshapen freaks who waylay unsuspecting travellers and dissect them in gruesome experiments. 4. Skate Warrior

Please check this story out, it looks like an excellent no-budget action flick that’s never been released so it could be easy to get the rights:

    https://prolost.com/blog/skatewarrior

Filmed in ‘92, “edited” from ‘97-‘99, and finally recovered and “mastered” this year. Seems like “Feeders”-style bad production. All the “actors” did their own “stunts”. Oh pretty please! This seems ripe for riffin’.

So long and thanks for all the riffs,
    Matt K

  5. The Vampire and the Ballerina

This movie makes "Atom Age Vampire" seem coherent. First off, there are no ballerinas, just nightclub dancers who are almost as sensuous as Carolyn Brandt in "Incredibly Strange Creatures..." Thrill to piano solos that become full-horn jazz with no other instruments in sight. Award points to the viewers who can tell the completely-interchangeable dancers apart. It does offer a fascinating pair of co-dependent vampires and gross out (for 1960) melting vampire scene.

  6. The Frog Prince (1986)

This is a cannon film, the Frog Prince himself is worth riffing alone as are the catchy but silly songs. I love this movie but would love to see the guys riff it

    Three Reasons:

    1) A large passenger plane is tootling about with 1.5 hours until landing, but the landing gear is down.
    2) On a different flight you can see a storm is raging from the cockpit view, but cut to the passengers and the windows are nice and bright.
    3) "It would be risky, but we do have a modified jet that could be used for an air-to-air transfer. We developed it for refueling." This jet just happens to be an SR-71.

Bonus: the journalists assistant is named Jimmy.

  8. The Yesterday Machine

1 hour and 18 minutes of unbelievable dialogue. Explaining the action instead of showing it. Lots of running places and going and coming that keeps you confused. That's OK to be bewildered; you'll make-up a better plot then the time traveling 30 year old teens and guessing police that never really look for clues or for our missing pep squad twirling co-ed. Hunting the woods in heels and I don't know what she was wearing. Watch the great costumes of gaffer taped NAZI pant cuffs, great fist fights include the cameraman. And actor grab ***. It will be a classic. What…

  9. Jennifer (1978)

It's like Willard if instead of rats, the person has power to control snakes! A young girl is bullied at her new school so she unleashes her power upon her tormentors so probably a Carrie meets Willard movie mashup, which means it is ripe for riffing!

  10. The machine girl

In The Machine Girl (2008), a low budget Japanese action flick, high schooler Ami loses both her brother and her arm to evil Yakuza bullies. Worse yet, they are not just Yakuza--they're Yakuza ninjas! Replacing her missing limb with a machine gun, she sets off for bloody revenge, but must match skills with all sorts of deadly assassins and outlandish weapons, including a drill bra. Yes, that's right, a drill bra. It's like a weaponized Madonna.

  11. scanner cop 2

Scanner Cop 2 - also known as Scanners: the showdown - continues

the adventures of everyone's favorite scanner cop, Sam Staziak

(didn't see the first one? No biggie. The film makers don't bother

    acknowledging it).

Promoted to detective after kicking so much *** in the 1st movie,

he must now go up against the brother of a man killed by Sam's

head- whipping superpowers, another scanner who escapes prison

while growling like the Tasmanian Devil. He then learns a way to

super-charge his mind by killing other scanners. The bodies

begin to mount as our villain siphons energy from his…

  12. erik the viking

A Viking with a conscience, Erik (Tim Robbins) tires of pillaging and decides to set out on a quest. When the wise Freya (Eartha Kitt) informs Erik that a great mythic wolf has eaten the sun, the warrior resolves to venture to Asgard, home of the Norse gods, to set things right. Before Erik can reach Asgard, he and his allies must first find a magical horn that resides in the land of King Arnulf (Terry Jones), who, luckily for the hero, has a lovely daughter, Princess Aud (Imogen Stubbs).

  15. Blue Velvet

The David Lynch classic starring a young, pre-Twin Peaks Kyle MacLaughlin, Laura Dern before Jurassic Park, Isabella Rossellini before her short haircut and Dennis Hopper, the madman with a love of Roy Orbison and PBR. It's worth it alone to hear Hopper, between huffing gas, say, "Oh, I'm ******." 'Nuff Said.

  16. The Cave (2005)

I saw that someone previously mentioned this movie in their suggestion for "The Cavern." But this person insinuated that "The Cave" was successful in some capacity. I don't know where they got their information, but it was only successful in the sense that someone actually managed to con some Hollywood execs into giving them money to make this ****** version of The Descent. One reviewer actually said, "The insipid dialog lacks even a hint of comic relief, so the audience is grateful when the action quickly kicks into gear."

Here is a link to a visual synopsis of the film…

  17. The Great Skycopter Rescue

Really hokey movie about 2 buddies: a disenchanted DJ (played by Terry Michos from "The Warriors") and a skycopter hobbyist who try to take back their town from a greedy oil capitalist and his gang of motorcycle hooligans.

  19. Breakheart Pass (1975)

A western/murder mystery that doesn't quite pull either off successfully. Starring Chuck Bronson, Jill Ireland, and Richard Crenna, though Ben Johnson and Charles Durning are the best things in it. Beautiful scenery and a plot with holes so big you can drive the train through.
