  2. The Spell (1977)

Okay so my partner and I lovingly refer to this one as "Fat Carrie" (we're both festively plump so we can do that). It was a made for tv movie that features a very young Helen Hunt and a girl who uses telekinesis to get revenge on those who bully her. But her mother becomes concerned about her new interest in the spooky arts and tries to find a way to stop her.
It tries really hard to be scary but bless it's heart it just can't manage it.I'd love to see Mary Jo and Bridget take it on but…

  6. French Fry Thatch

A bizarre, early commercial for McDonald's, back when the Fry Guys were called Goblins (because that's such an appetizing name).

  9. ...with Carl Reiner, soon.

There are many comedy legends still with us. Carl Reiner as a guest riffer would be terrific.

  11. The Shadow (1940]

Victor Jory (Cat Women on the Moon, The Green Archer) stars as Lamont Cranston, better known by his secret identity, The Shadow. But this isn’t your classy Old Time Radio Shadow, voiced by Orson Welles—no sir! This Lamont Cranston is a criminal scientist (whatever that means), and evidently he can no longer fog men’s minds. He still has his terrifying laugh, at least, but I’m not sure what good THAT does anyone. Maybe it has something to do with endorphins.

But fear not! He may not be rich, or powerful, but The Shadow DOES have certain skills: specifically, the skill…

  13. Marvel Super Heroes "Animated" TV Series

In 1966, Grantray-Lawrence Animation produced a TV series made up of shorts revolving around various Marvel heroes--Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Namor The Sub-Mariner, and The Hulk. These stories were taken from the Silver Age comics.

And when I say "taken from," I mean literally. The "animation", and I use the term generously, was basically the original comic art with some animation--moving lips, the occasional (slightly) moving figure or a fully animated silhouette, on-screen sound effects.

These shorts reflected the slight cheesiness of Silver Age comics--characters describing their actions even as they played out onscreen, somewhat over-inflated dialogue, etc. In…

  15. The Chooper/Blood Shack

This movie should be right up there with your Birdemic and Samurai Cops, and it's by the same guy who did the The Incredibly Strange People Who Stopped Living, so it has pedigree.

  16. "The Power"

The always-tan George Hamilton plays a character who has special powers, and is named "Professor Tanner". That by itself is worth riffing. It seems to me that he's an actor who should be riffed at least once! This is a sci-fi thriller, as there are other characters in the story who have the same power, and it seems that one of those characters is trying to kill the rest. I don't actually remember a lot about this movie, except that it was fun to watch, and that there were a few plot points where you *really* had to NOT-think about…

  17. Tentacolino

Also known as In Search of the Titanic, This is a movie sequel to Legend of the Titanic. This movie involves Atlantis & it's so poorly animated & dubbed you'd think they threw whatever into it to make it interesting, which they did, and it's bad. I first learned about this movie, and the two preceding this through Nostalgia Critic reviews.

  18. starchaser: the legend of orin

What could be deemed an animated rip off of Star Wars. Only C3PO is a **** silver fembot who tries to ********* with the the Landau of the movie, a rough rebel named Dagg. It features a glowing sword (a hologram of an old man makes an appearance at some point), half human droids.. and Orin also has a sister who comes along on the adventure to try and free slaves who are mining crystals for a war Lord.

    -1985 korean animation

    -plenty of sci fi goodies

-even the main character has a striking resemblance to Skywalker
